I think it's very hard to make someone healthy emotionally dependent. Seems like those people had that trait deep in the personality core and that's why they click so well with narcs. It's not their fault at all, though. Thankfully, a good therapist might help to fix that broken pattern they use.

Maybe this is a case of survivorship bias (in this case, the "survivorship" being the husband's troon ambitions). The husband only troons out when he thinks the wife is so dependent on him that she is unlikely leave. Which is why you see a lot of trans widows who are stay-at-home moms or disabled or unable to work in some way.

I don't think autogynephilia is necessarily linked with narcissism. I think we are seeing a combination of a) the more narcissistic men with autogynephilia trooning out while the less narcissistic ones keep it secret so as not to hurt their wives (or come to a healthy agreement in the relationship somehow) and b) narcissistic traits being kindled into full-blown narcissism by the power of the trans movement, which tells members that their weird fetish is an identity that everyone must accept or else they're a bigot.

I think that commenter in particular lost his teeth for other reasons and the desire for female teeth is just incidental. That poor dentist. Can you imagine having that guy as a patient?

I think what strikes me the most about the OP's post is how much it sums up the troon attitude towards body transformation. The OP admits he hasn't brushed his teeth for ten years, and now he expects a medical professional to give him the teeth of his dreams, for free, because he is trans and he deserves it. He'd rather undergo an invasive and time-consuming medical procedure than just fucking take care of himself.

It's the dental version of all the AGPs who won't pluck their eyebrows or learn basic makeup or hairstyling skills but jump straight to tracheal shaving and amholes, because they are convinced that it will catapult them straight into becoming anime catgirls.

I think another factor in the general population souring on troons is that they’ve begun to realize there’s a real goal difference here. Exceptions exist, of course, but it’s largely:

Oh yeah let's not forget that troons are starting to get into the modeling industry as well. Modeling is a mostly female dominating industry, plus really predatory and fucked up in many ways (anorexic/bulimic behaviors are encouraged, using sex as a way to get higher up in the industry etc.). Now these poor women have to deal with a bunch of men taking their place because companies need more "diversity". One good example is Aj Clementine. While there is an element of trannies getting pushed in that general direction, I noticed a bunch of red flags that popped up that indicate that the user is still sipping the narcissist juice: They essentially say they are physically repulsed by their body and are feeling suicidal over it and then merely seconds later whine about how they shouldn't have gotten surgery while suicidal and how they could have probably came to terms with them. No matter how horrifying the body horror is in this rant, there's one major thing that pulses throughout it "It wasn't my fault". It's the tranny doctrine of wanting two completely polar opposite things and then getting confused when told it's impossible.

Ultimately it's up to THEM to decide whether or not they should get the incredibly risky surgery, and when given all the options to and essentially screaming into therapists pillows about how without it they'd be dead... they're amazed that doctors think that the surgery should go ahead? This emotionally manipulative piece of shit that's BEGGING for surgery?

I fully expect them to REtrans at some point because they will have zero quality of life no matter what body they end up with. And probably neckrope. I'm sure if they could, they'd find a way of blaming death for not being what they expected either.

I completely agree with your take. Sure, experts should watch out for unstable people but at the end of the day, people make decisions. This was all voluntary and this person could have said no at any time. I know most people are dumb but this reeks of not accepting any responsibility.
