Age of Consent may be 16, for someone whom is 16-17, as an adult you cannot have relations with a minor.

Even if you could date a 16 year old as a adult, in sewerslvts case, still would be illegal. Under the australian laws of consent, you cannot date anyone who is in a position of power such as a coach, tutor, teacher, boss, ect. i would like to believe that someone who is in sewerslvt's position, the same rule applys. Where Ethan has semi fame and the fanbase is a young demigraphic, he can be held accountable for this under a court of law.

and regardless, he received and possibly saved images of a minor, as well as engaging in video phone sex with them. If sewerslvt had saved these images, she would be in possession of cp. also, are these people trying to say just because legally they can't get arrested, morally this isn't extremely fucked up?

I think it's morally pretty gross. I'm 20, a year or so younger than Ethan. I find anyone under say, 18 or 19, pretty young and essentially a child. I'm sure this mindset isn't uncommon among normal people.

Exactly, even I, as a minor, find anyone even a year younger than me to be completely off limits for dating, and I've never even thought about dating one. In high school, seeing all the seniors date people my age or even younger is fucking disgusting, legal or not. But I'm assuming all of the sewerslvt fans also want to have sex with kids so they see no problem with it.

What interests me is if the Sewer's "I'm quitting forever" arc began before the kiwithread (if any of his friends noticed the motions for a hiatus on the way, if it was discussed) or after. Since it's save to assume he saw the topic raised almost immedeatelly, I'll theorize he felt fire under his ass to cash out while nobody found out about the grooming. Much to think about, but it could be these two factors come together (and he was already getting bored etc).

I would like to ask if during your talks with him you remember any of his self diagnosed calamities coming to light. They probably aren't real, but if they are you would notice him sometimes posting seemingly noncencical strings of words or being agressive for no reason (I'm no psychiatrist though). From the DMs posted he seems like a normal dude.

Tbh I don't see much of a problem with a single year age gap. When I was in high school lots of my friends dated people who were a year younger or older since there weren't many people there to begin with (small town), but maybe I am the weird one. However, Ethan was 3 years older and an adult whilst these people were minors - that is morally and legally wrong by anyones standards.

*Also its crazy to see all of the mental gymnastics going on at r/sewerslvt. I guess the people who came out with evidence faked everything even though all of the rumours, dates and evidence line up and one of the victims has a photo of someone nearly identical to Ethan.....

I don’t remember much but I do remember talking about girls last tour, personal shit, and it eventually escalated to weird phone sex. I’m a schizo also and I switch topics constantly and show funny images to convey the type of shit I’m feeling. They never really mentioned quitting or retiring the name. I've been listening to some of Sewerslvt's tracks for the past few years (like 2 or 3 songs), never was a big fan of his but did know about his Twitter cringy moments and his racist behavior. I didn't know that he was a groomer and didn't know about his obsession with children.
