The thing about the 41% statistic is that it lumps in AGP sufferers with the homosexual transsexual group. Gay and lesbian teens are also at a higher risk of suicide (gay boys it's like 3 times higher, lesbian girls is higher than that). So, this is inline with that, and inline with the more recent findings that supportive environments for gender-non-conforming kids lowers the risk substantially. Like Blanchard, the dude who came up with the transsexual typology in the first place, has said, you just let the kid play with dolls or go to ballet. In the majority of cases (upwards of 90%, though these studies predate the huge rise in FTM teens), children who experience dysphoria do not transition.

In contrast, the AGP suicidal profile seems to be much more obviously one related to other body dysmorphias. Body dysmorphia sufferers (including muscle dysmorphia, obsession with thinness, and BIID) have suicides occurring in 30-35% of cases. It's much more like the profile of an OCD sufferer than it is a gay teen who needs support. It's a paraphilic obsession that, like other obsessive disorders, creates enough distress that it can lead to suicide. And like a lot of paraphilic obsessions, it used to present much more in men before transtrending became popular. If the trans movement was being honest, they would admit that it is a mental illness, for which there should be study to see if treatments could exist that don't involve mutilation. But, instead, there's an active recruitment effort occurring to try and spread this paraphilia, like a social virus. I actually doubt a lot of the newer troons even feel dysphoria to the degree that was described in psychiatric literature in previous decades. It seems more likely that they have been sold a fantasy, and are lying to get access to treatments they think will magically make them women/men.
 
So I got thinking. I was born male and I am male now.

Is there anything legally stopping me from identifying as a trans man? I was thinking about it in the shower how the arguements against me would easily violate my "gender identity" in the same way that an employer telling a tranny that they're actually a man would cause a corporate shitstorm.

There is bio trans woman on Twitter whose reports on reeeing troons are decided in her favour, which is hilarious. Yet to see something like that IRL, but one can dream :optimistic:

I went to find out if Korean universities were that based and turns out troons are technically allowed after their SRS, but in 2020 the amount of opposition from other students made a troon withdraw from the university.

A transgender student, the first to gain admission to a women-only university in South Korea, has decided not to attend due to massive opposition from other students, according to media reports Friday.

“I withdrew my admission, because of growing fears on voices of opposition,” she told Yonhap News.

She also wrote in an online community Friday afternoon, the last day to accept the offer, after withdrawing. “I was scared of the recent situation. I was afraid of the words and actions of those people, who were not allowing me to achieve my hopes, not even the slightest bit,” she said.

The 22-year-old transgender woman, who wished to remain anonymous, received an offer of admission from Sookmyung Women’s University’s law department last week, becoming the first transgender student to be admitted to a women-only university in Korea.

She underwent sex reassignment surgery in Thailand last year. Prior to the national college entrance exam in November, the court approved her legal gender change from male to female in October, which means she was legally allowed to apply for admission.

The university’s unprecedented decision was met with mixed opinions from students, alumni and civic organizations.

While some welcomed the decision, many students at Sookmyung strongly opposed it. Some asked the school to revoke the offer of admission and revise its policy to exclude transgender students.

She is said to be applying to other colleges next year.

That redditor should have went to google the university or something, I recall some of my male friends from college went to Ewha Women's University for exchange as international students, so technically the troon could still apply as a man lol. Korea's still pretty much a man's world so he might come out of the experience detransitioned!

Also note the bizarre inconsistency where she says in the recent video that most parents are okay with her doing this, whereas her initial video is specifically mocking parents who are NOT okay with it (lol). The original video was clearly meant to provoke, but now she is CONFUSED as to why it received negative backlash. Okay.

I also do not believe for a second that she merely referred to herself as "Teacher Ash" and then waited until the students innocently asked why she did not go by Ms. Ash. I am certain it was a very dramatic affair that the children were subjected to, about how it is rude to call her Ms. etc..

Also, lol at the fact that she thinks she "looks different" than the other teachers, when she looks like a typical 20-year old girl with short hair.
