Always funny to me how on football twitter whenever a small club makes a joke about a bigger club that goes viral you’ll without fail get Dindu McPlastic in the comments seeking to defend the honour of a club thousands of miles away.

Lower leagues similarly decimated too, though fortunately my team isn't. Really worry lower clubs can't afford another lockdown. If games have to be postponed for a bit then so be it but the season must continue.
Likely will have some games moved into the free Jan slot and during the time associated from the African cup of nations. Liverpool and City are going to suffer hard during that period

And as everyone expected, spuds are out of the conference league.
Miniscule club that they are, their fans are happy about that.

Also the last few weeks of ref decisions has convinced me this league is being fixed

Maybe because the spotlight is bigger, but these past few weeks for me as well has made me begin to question the integrity of it all. It's my inkling to just call the refs retards, but that's letting them off the hook, because any layman can look at a replay and apply sensible judgement and figure out what the correct decisions should be. No matter what the reason, something is seriously off.

League Cup games are still going ahead. Good! I have a ticket and don't want my fun ruined by a 0.01% coof

We will have a M. City vs. Barcelona match-up next year...

More precisely, Montevideo City Torque from Uruguay vs. Barcelona from Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Whether those matches will actually be played and not suspended due to yet another Kung Flu sequel, remains to be seen.

Welsh fans are pissed their home games will be played behind closed doors. If EFL Championship is allowed to continue, here’s hoping closed door home matches don’t cause Swansea to lose points and possibly get relegated.

Conversely, fuck Swansea and Cardiff, they can go to their own league and play the likes of The New Saints.

I've always wanted the Northern Irish and Welsh leagues to merge, purely to dump the English larping sides into it. Ideally it strengthens development of regional talent and it would be amusing to see Wrexham in the Europa Conference League.

Some Hulk 2021 highlights, turns out he's pretty nimble for his size. That long shot really gave me PES flashbacks

Now that full-on purchase of clubs is free, we have club acquisitions galore down here in Brazil.

Fat Ronaldo bought Cruzeiro, his first professional club. The guy who owns Crystal Palace bought Botafogo. Red Bull is officially the owner of Bragantino now.

This could set up something good or bad. For instance, City Group bought a bunch of small-fry teams all over South America, and turned their luck around enough to turn them into good contenders. On the other hand, I'm really afraid if Stan fucking Kroenke, the Khans or the Glazers decide to buy any team from here as well. Those don't seem to treat their teams as anything other than secure cash dispensers.

Any transfers you hoping to see happen for the respective clubs you support during this winter window?

Can't think of any for Man Utd because everyone's shite except De Gea at the moment, but it would be interesting to see if Newcastle splashed out the big bucks during the winter window even though it's unlikely.

The most high-profile player São Paulo intends to purchase is Yeferson Soteldo from fucking Venezuela. Mind you, the guy is pretty much Barney Rubble if he was a real-life man. He's even as much of a manlet as Barney was/is. And by default he's one of the greatest players Maduroland has ever produced, which doesn't mean much at all.

In other Brazil transfer news, Flamengo intends to buy Arturo Vidal, Chilean midfielder that used to play for Bayern Munich and is currently a benchwarmer at Inter Milan. The big news, however, is that some teams are hell-bent on purchasing Edinson Cavani off Manchester United.
