It appears from today's proceedings that the jury won't be able to watch the actual videos in the jury room with them and if they want to watch videos they will get trotted into the main courtroom to look on the official screen. That is a pain in the ass, so they won't be studying the videos frame by frame to figure things out. This will probably make them depend more on their recollection of witness testimony and the still photographs they have.

The photographic evidence is mostly crap and extra junk. Considering what a mess the foundation testimony was, they jury is likely to discount all the photos. The State managed to inadvertently show that no photos in the case should be trusted because they could all be manipulated by people who couldn't explain what they were doing.

The State is likely to go all-in on the provocation exception to self-defense. The defense would do well in closing arguments to emphasize the missing testimony of the missing witness Zeminksy (sp?). That person would clearly have very important and relevant things to say about whether Rittenhouse was threatening him and provoking others. Yet the State never called Zeminsky to testify. The jury can draw a negative inference from that.

If the defense doesn't trip over its own dick and get too tied up in the photo and video evidence and goes hard on the testimonial evidence, things should go well for Defendant.
