The video mentions Amanda Todd. It was a tangent that sprang up when he started talking about the Leelah Alcorn poster in the Gen Zed trailer. You can watch the video here, but if you're sensitive to cringe I don't know if I recommend it. (He makes his own attempt at a stand-up comedy joke about diarrhea...)

Lamar Odom's a basketball player who was married to one of the Kardashians, they found him in a coma in a brothel a couple of days ago.
How very un-SJW of Hayden to use a POC as the butt of a really shit joke. Dude could've died.
They're obviously trying to cash in on whatever's relevant in the media at the time for a bit of attention. The saddest thing is, it's not even working.

I think it's because the only one of Hayden's shows that was slightly less of a flop than others, Goodnight Burbank, was a fake news report.
So he obviously thinks making dumb "jokes" about random headlines is a super successful winning recipe he can re-apply to anything, including Gen Zed.
He doesn't understand that a "modern classic" should aim for longevity instead of jokes about shit that'll be forgotten in a year, but then again it's Hayden Black we're talking about. The self-proclaimed comedic genius who doesn't even know how a punchline works.

It looks like they've reworked a few things on their website in a weak-ass attempt at damage control.
For one thing, the landlord character that definitely does not look like a Hispanic stereotype has suddenly acquired a backstory.
Maybe because Hayden was told of just how much of a racist caricature this character was, he attempted to give him a slightly more sympathetic backstory, as well as a totally-not-stereotypical occupation as a janitor.
I can't wait to hear more oh-so-progressive jokes about his nagging wife.
Huey's no longer mentioned as a "sociopath". Instead, there's an added mention of GarageBand, which is sure to be a hit with hip cool kids and definitely makes Huey a well-rounded character.
Fisrt it was an eight-episode extravaganza that was suppoded to premiere in November, now it's an eight-episode extravaganza whose pilot might maybe be finished in December. They hope.
Also, it takes them a whole season just to move in together? Sounds fascinazzzzzzzz

It was first May, then November. And they wonder why on earth people would think it's a scam.
Back in HS, some friends and I actually used it once to record a terrible song about a personal lolcow of ours. It's still floating around somewhere on the Internet :,)
