About the only places the name Momo doesn't sound stupid are Japan and the Michael Ende book.

But I think we've always known Sophie's been shitty at names...

If there was a "Top 10 Stupid Strips List" for this comic, this strip would have a place in it. Also Stephie's mom makes me cringe whenever she's shown, in part for the bad art such as her mouth falling off her face in the middle panel, and the fact that this is supposed to be a middle aged woman, with a kid, dressing up like a 16-20 year old tumblrina.

Behindthename says "Loic" is the Breton form of Louis, so it's not made up. She just didn't use the more well-known equivalent.

I second the "Momo" thing, though. The only instances I've seen the name "Momo" pop up in were Japanese-related, so I'm hoping it's just a nickname at least.
