Wait. Wasn't the explanation for Quilliam's let's-call-it-unconventional name that he was actually a transguy and it was the name he'd picked himself? So why the Hell is Hayden playing Quilliam instead of casting a trans male actor for the role, if Gen Zed is so committed to diverse hiring?

Or is it perhaps that Hayden Black is full of shit?

Julie had a "lead role" as the first antagonist in some generic magical girl anime, but Maddie being one of the supporting antagonists in a long-running anime for a successful video game franchise for eight years doesn't qualify as a "lead role?"

It's because Hayden has be the smartest, coolest, funniest and most important character. Every damn role he's written for himself has been a Gary Stu.

I really do recommend whoever is asking Hayden Black, egotistical hack behind Gen Zed, about his abortion of a show if they can ask why he just has the Shona account tweet shit he already said. I want to see how he tries to be a smart ass about his inept laziness.

Gen-Zed is probably Hayden's last chance to remain topical in today's world. He picked a bullshit platform for a base, a shitty concept to set up on it and the promise of something great to draw in the gullible. He's taking any and all PR he can get because we all know deep down inside none of this has to do with transgenders, comedy or even a series; everything about this is meant for Hayden and his childish need for attention. His fifteen minutes of fame are long since gone but he got a taste and wants more so he doesn't care how he gets it long as he gets his fix.
It's like he's holding a burnt out match in his hand and he thinks he can get it to burn again if he stares at it long and hard enough.

someone otter ask Shona why she's copying everything Hayden says. Shona and Julie might be the "same person" (meta-ly), but Shona and Hayden sure as heck aren't. Is she just a copycat with no original material of her own, that she has to do that?

Nahh, it's 'cause it's Hayden. Shona is literally just Hayden in drag again, with the only difference being he isn't voicing her like he did that other time. Also something something lazy uncreative fuck who can't bother to write a different repertoire for a character.

It's probably the same for every gen zed character.
If you look at the cast & crew page, every character matches their VA. Black dude is played by a black dude, Asian girl by an Asian girl, old Hispanic guy by an old Hispanic guy, etc. The blue-haired girl even looks exactly like her VA.

I bet Hayden modeled the characters after their VAS, didn't bother writing much about them except maybe for a few personality traits, and he's just going to let each VA do their own thing.
 
You could pitch a show that's just 30 minutes of a raccoon masturbating furiously, and it would probably be more successful than Gen Zed. Hell, at least the masturbating raccoon guys wouldn't act like a total asshole to anyone that talks to them, and I'm sure some people would actually be interested in seeing it.

Hell, I told them about The Midnight Animal beating them to the punch on tumblr and never saw them post it. Not even a bad joke/insult followed by "pew pew"

They only answer Asks and Tweets they can either mock about a misspelling or evade the question by making a bad joke. Or ones that they can claim "harrassment", of course.
