ITT I've learned just how many people don't understand that overloading servers with a sudden influx of traffic is not the same as an alleged hack that took out Facebook & Co. Just because a site is slow or you're having issues logging in, that doesn't mean it's been yeeted into the abyss by a brave anon.
Or the more likely scenario, an issue with new hires who are so shit at code, they make YanDev look semi-competent.

The fact that they didn't immediately blame North Korea/Russia/China is an example of just how much things have changed in the last five years.
Perhaps that's for the best. The truth would be too humiliating.
First they took Afghanistan back, now the Talichads are cleansing the internet of every bit of haram content they see. Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp...they were only the first batch. This is just the warning. A test, if you will. They only let it back up to flex their power.
Twitter's only been spared because they need to sneed and negotiate diplomacy with pepe avatars.

This is a good thing, facebook is completely terrible. I don't know if its because I have a huge following but I have never been able to get a post to work on facebook. It says its not allowed because of spam and such, then I look at all the successful posts people are making and I see that its a simple post, and no, it wasn't spam. So I go back in and delete all my work, then try again. It never seems to work.
 
It seems the bigger a social media site gets, the more bloated its staff is, which is to say your top developers go from being a majority to a minority & your system is being worked on by mediocre people potentially undoing the good shit done by the best people of the past.
