The biggest issue I have with Corpse as a musician is that in every one of his songs that I’ve heard, the lyrics are really try-hardy. Like, there’s so much excessive, unnecessary profanity and it comes across as a 12-year-old trying to sound cool by cramming in as many big boy words as he can.

I’ve talked in this thread before about the “Siren Head” song he did with Chills. I compared Chills and Corpse and said that in my opinion, Chills is the better rapper of the two. Part of the reason for this is because Chills doesn’t pepper his lyrics with cursing for no reason. I don’t know who wrote “Siren Head,” whether it was one of them writing the whole song, or if they both wrote their own parts. I don’t even know if Corpse writes any of his music. There’s probably something here that answers that but I’m too lazy to look for it. But to illustrate my point, Corpse’s verses are a lot more “mature.”

I’ve never listened to any of his e-girl songs. I don’t intend to, because I know that I probably wouldn’t like them so I don’t see a point. I think his best song is probably “White Tee,” but that one also illustrates my point because it’s absolutely filthy. I’m not saying that swearing is inherently bad or anything, but I see a lot of people compare Corpse to Ghostemane. I think Ghostemane is a better lyricist though. He’s also got a better vocal range.

It drives me up the wall when musicians try and throw in anime references. It literally takes me back to the days of fucking L33T STREET BOYS. Which ironically aren’t that much different now that I think about it. 🤔
 
He certainly doesn’t write his lyrics with longevity in mind. In like 5 years all the retarded current year internet slang he uses will be even more cringey than it is now. The fucking “UwU” sound byte in one of his songs is the worst shit ever

it's so weird that his fans are so thirsty for that shit. putting anime lyrics in a song is probably one of the most repulsive things a man can do.

He's not exactly a butter elemental like Dream but he's still a chubby boy, which continues to not surprise me. I don't get where this delusion of every internet celebrity being some gangly twink comes from. It might've been closer to true 20+ years ago when the average internet user was an early 20s collegiate nerd who required a minimum level of physical activity to complete their education and their all-ramen diet wasn't exactly putting on pounds, and even then, a majority were still fat neckbeards with ponytails.

Nowadays with an even higher rate of obesity in young adults in the United States? It'd be retarded to not assume any internet content creator who hasn't already shown their face or body is a fat fuck.

Now if he were actually lard gargling tubster like Dream or he had some weird fetish going on like ABDL then people would react more. It's kind of a wet fart.

Agreed, plus those aren't recent photos. His stans can still fantasize that he looks hot since they technically don't know what he currently looks like.
