That's a good observation, I never made that connection.I'm guessing the nonsense-speech is him doing the thing where you "speak in tongues" as part of a religious experience

Why the fuck do you need to bring out a guest speaker to talk about some eceleb making a bunch of jokes that would have been fine 10 years ago? Pretty pathetic if you ask me.https://youtube.com/watch?v=VIDDojbLdcA
DaftPina did a really good video on The TheOdd1sOut (Aka James), and his massive list of hypocrisy and subtle racism. Surprised he left out the time James admitted to going to a furcon.
Reminds me of Terry,I found this guy randomly on YouTube live a couple months ago. His channel is called Spiritual Magickal, and on it are his countless channeling sessions, both live and recorded. He "channels" various spirits and deities through his rituals of speaking absolute fucking nonsense. Take a look.

The Dream fanbase also reminds me of Corpse's fanbase. There are a lot of similarities between the two, such as neither of them showing their faces. It seems to me like the anonymity has resulted in a lot of their fans making creepy snuff fan"art" of them. Granted, you can probably find that kind of stuff in most youtuber fanbases, but it seems like there is more for them. I would argue that the autistic fanart is more present in Corpse's fanbase, since as you so eloquently put it, "They simp over his edgelord aesthetic and GERD voice."Speaking of Dream fans, a similar and often overlapping fanbase is Corpse Husband fans. He blew up in popularity not for his horror videos but for playing Among Us with people like Sykkuno, at a time when stanning content creators was going into full swing. They simp over his edgelord aesthetic and GERD voice (which I don't get how all these fans get wet over, to me it's obvious he only sounds like that because his throat is fucked up) And his music sounds like mumble rap but worse.
It's kind of funny to see that every time Corpse does anything, a legion of his stans come out to coddle him, a guy who makes "edgelord grown man" his whole aesthetic.
Like Reddit, you receive a notification for when you reach a like milestone (5, 10, 50 100, etc.), so my guess is that they feel obligated to say something about it when notified.I find it funny how much reddit infested youtube comments. Like do people really feel some sort of validation whenever they see a bunch of likes on their comment and now feel obligated to -"wow, thanks for the likes!" Or writing "r/whoosh" on non reddit places like youtube?
Could care less about more allegations, I just don't get how Carson rose in fame so fast. He seems to just be another personification of modern """"postirony""", and these days people like him are a dime a dozen. It baffles me how this guy specifically garnered such a fanbase.https://youtube.com/watch?v=CtAAY_cwnrE
CallMeCarson (mostly known for streaming Minecraft on the server SMPLive last year) has been accused of sexting underage girls by his friends Noah and Traves, who part of a group called "Lunch Club" together with Carson in the past that seems to have broken up (now speculated to be because of the underage sexting).
There sure are a lot of INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY REMEMBER PYROCYNICAL comments in reply to these allegations, even though Pyrocynical admitted to doing furry fetish RP with teenagers.
Might wanna note that someone started a joke about how Carson is going to jail (for stealing money from the aforementioned Lunch Club group) yesterday.
You have to note that he kept his hands clean before all this. He was mostly noted as the victim. His meteoric rise to the top was in large part with his association with the likes of jschlatt, traves, and the rest of the 'Lunch Club' associated with minecraft, in which as you may know, is a conduit for popularity if you collab with the right people. Couple that with his 'wholesome' persona and his 'nice guy' attitude and you've got yourself CallMeCarson. It's also noted before his YouTube stardom, he amassed a gigantic following for being on the nose with some post-ironic humor on twitter.Could care less about more allegations, I just don't get how Carson rose in fame so fast. On the one hand, it makes sense why they took so long. On the other hand, why release such a milquetoast statement on Daniel Keem's show?https://youtube.com/watch?v=CtAAY_cwnrE

I've seen people on Twitter stating that 17 is legal in Indiana, Carson's state at the time. Not sure what state the girl was in, but eh.Victims coming out of the woodwork now (note, Carson at this point was 19, and she was 17.)

Seems like a nothingburger for now, the most conclusive evidence is probably contained within the video of said victim scrolling through the DMs.
Think it's another emboldened Ivory Rasmus type deal with this chick, though if Noah and Traves at least did their due diligence and bit the bullet, bringing at least some of the private conversation or at least snippets of the call where he said he admitted to grooming, that'd probably be the silver bullet. I'm just really tired of drama where it's all allegations and not solid proof. Why even speak out in the first place if you're just going to give a five minute sentence? It'll just give Carson more time to stack up a better defense than what Noah and Traves gave out.I've seen people on Twitter stating that 17 is legal in Indiana, Carson's state at the time. It's not the best look, but at least the girl wasn't MASSIVELY below Carson's age with a two year age gap, it's still not great to continue chatting up someone under 18. I like Carson too, so it'll just be interesting to see how this plays out.
This just all feels part of an unnecessary clout chasing trend recently. Are people really that bored during lockdown that they'll dredge this shit up to try and garner sympathy and attention when it's not justified?Think it's another emboldened Ivory Rasmus type deal with this chick, though if Noah and Traves at least did their due diligence and bit the bullet, bringing at least some of the private conversation or at least snippets of the call where he said he admitted to grooming, that'd probably be the silver bullet.
