Part of me wants to see some kind of thread on Anthony Fantano because of how faggy he's become ever since that Fader article in 2017. It's nothing to do with the content he produces, it's just the blue checkmark mentality he's espoused in the last two years. It's like the retarded journo who sperged out about him passed the same blue checkmark behaviour onto him, like some vampiric curse. It's kind of baffling because after getting falsely accused of having a secondary channel that panders to the "alt-right", instead of standing up for himself he just became a coward, caved in and deleted the fucking channel. The retarded excuse he gave in his video response to the article was to say "it's getting demonetised and it's barely bringing in any money", but a) I highly doubt he's strapped for cash considering how well his music reviews on his main channels do and b) if it's not making money, why purge it? Also he's a pussy for making Sam Hyde out to be some sociopath and not just saying "he made a funny joke and I laughed at it."

Actually I'd argue that his response was actually quite considered and effective. The e-rag that wrote it, made stealth edits shortly after he put out his response video and a few months later they deleted it entirely and now refuse to talk about it, which implies they were put under significant pressure.

The guy that wrote it Ezra Marcus complained about getting Anti-Semitic abuse and then likewise shut up.

By deleting the videos (which I have a feeling that Ezra, shit hot journalist that he is, never archived) Fantano was able to control the conversation about them from that point on.

The accusations about him being Alt Right are still on Wikipedia of course because the Fader is a reputable journalistic source.

I imagine the Fader was hoping that he'd just roll over start apologising, make a donation to the SPLC etc. They were apparently pissed when his only statement to them was that he was putting everything into a response video.

Anyway when you see so many examples of people chimping out and threatening lawsuits, it's interesting to look at a case where an individual put a journalistic outlet back in its box.

That's not answering my question: that's just rephrasing the premise. I've watched his content, and the most "offensive" things he's done is say that Tom McDonald is making a fool of himself with his "Whites are so super oppressed guise" schtick (he is) and refusing to say the nigger word (that's his prerogative). He doesn't chimp out on the internet and get into slap fights or rant in his videos about how all Trump voters should be shot, so I'm not seeing anything worth even a CommWatch post about him. If you can produce something that is, that'd be different.
EDIT: Since you joined yesterday, I'll just clarify this: this site isn't for documenting every leftist who voices their political opinion on the internet. You'll notice we don't have a CommWatch thread for "Redditards" or "soyboys". This site documents displays of extreme autism and/or flame wars (except for BP, which is for mean girls and isn't somewhere I go). Having a political opinion isn't enough to be documented on this site.

Fantano is a fucking worm and a grifter. When being an anti-SJW was popular, he was friends with a ton of them. He'd have discussions with Sargon, went on the Drunken Peasants constantly and even defended then interviewed Sam Hyde. Now there's a bunch of interviews he did with some faggot named The Progressive Voice (who also belongs here btw) where he disavows all of the things I just listed and shit talks the people and ideas he used to be cool with, acting like the type of person they all used to shit on but the dude cuts his videos up to get more views and I don't wanna post like 4 videos here and take up an entire page.

That guy is strange, I went looking for a video Bearing made about him a couple of years back laughing at how he tries to set the metadata on his videos to game the search algorithm. The video has been deleted off YouTube though! There was a link to it from Rational Wiki (lol even rational wiki reference his clickbaity titles).

He's an awful communicator, a terrible monotone voice and this slightly blank facial expression. Yet he somehow manages to interact with a lot of the top people on progressive YouTube, I think it might be because he's got money. Kyle Kulinski and a few others let him orbit them, and will occasionally stream with him, it wouldn't surprise me if he pays for the privilege.
 
The guy who made those anime is gay songs that Jim used to play on his streams unlisted one and privated the other so imma archive them here since a deletion is inevitable and I think they deserve to be preserved.

I guess I should defend myself since I started this up. I'm not talking about his content; content wise I don't really give a shit because most of it is inoffensive. When I say "blue checkmark behaviour" - I mean, I guess I was trying to find any other term behind SJW because I cringe at the thought of saying it. The point I was trying to make in my post is that his behaviour on social media has changed and I suspect it's 100% because of that hit piece written on him. Atomsk said it all better than I probably could.
As for examples of stuff he's said to back up my point (note: in my attempt to find a lot of these tweets, I've discovered that most of them are deleted, which is evidence of the fact that fantano is aware of how much of a fag he is that even he is embarrased of his own tweets):

I still don't quite feel that this rises above the average center-left twitter slapfight, and the fact he walked this shit back instead of doubling-down is kind of counter to cow behavior, but thank you for at least showing the sauce. If he gets in a twitter slapfight again it might be worth documenting.
