Why is milk so disgusting?

I don't understand what people people like about cow juice because it's fucking vile. I taste it and immediately feel like gagging, I smell it and want to retch.

Milk is right up there as one of the most disgusting things to ever be in my mouth.

Same. I've always hated the taste of milk, it's sour. I'm fine with dairy products, and milk in coffee if it's been steamed/frothed but I can't drink just straight milk. Nasty stuff.

Jizz isn't nearly as offensive taste wise as milk. Cream is okay as long as you shake it enough and turn it into butter.

when I was a kid, milk was ubiquitous. your parents told you to drink it, you got it with your school lunch, there were fuckin commercials on TV for it. I didn't know any kids that actively disliked it, at worst they were ambivalent. going into adulthood, it wasn't something I ever really thought about. I keep a gallon of 2% around, mainly for cooking, occasionally for a drink. I've always viewed it as a staple, like meat or eggs. so the fact that there's now a significantly outspoken number of people who actively revile milk and spit on its whole existence is really bizarre to me. it's like people suddenly decided to start hating bread, as a concept.

random anecdote, back when I was real young - kindergarten or first grade - we had class lunch and after we all got our plates, the lunch lady poured us all a glass of milk. the kids who drank it started complaining and by the time everyone was finished, nobody drank their milk, which was a no-no, cause you're supposed to finish your milk. the principal came in to check on us and when the class complained, she didn't believe the kids saying the milk tasted funny and assumed we were being disagreeable little assholes. so she got pissed, had the lunch lady pour her a glass to prove we were lying. she took one swig and immediately gagged and started apologizing to everyone lol. to this day I wonder what that fuckin lunch lady was on that made her retarded enough to serve us sour milk. it wasn't just a little sour, it had an obvious smell, one whiff of the jug would have given it away.
