As of last May, the California State Association of Counties found that the state had blown $29.5 billion on homelessness in fiscal years 2019/2020–2024/2025. What’s worse, California spends federal money on homelessness by the $billions. For example, in the 2021–2022 budget, $4.9 billion from the American Rescue Plan went to homelessness.

Meanwhile, homelessness in the erstwhile Golden (Shower) State continues to skyrocket.

Where does the money go? US Attorney General Bill Essayli provides examples: https://xcancel.com/ThePatriotOasis/status/1978909199829533106

$2.2 Million can go a long way toward paying off luxury purchases on a credit card, even among fat cats who can afford a seat at the table in Gavin Newsom’s California.

Not since the global warming hoax have neoliberals come up with a better way to launder taxpayer money to facilitate graft. No wonder they embrace policies that encourage homelessness.

Does this fall under waste, fraud, or abuse of taxpayer's money?

Pretty insane how openly corrupt the current administration is.
I get your frustration. But literally most people have been taught by the government itself to never back down, never let the other side win a fight because then they will use that win to bend you over a barrel. So yes this is okay, almost everything is okay as long as the general trend of the administration to dismantle the system people have suffered under continues. That’s why I say I believe Trump isn’t a good person but that doesn’t matter because the situation doesn’t allow for leaders to be good people and succeed.

Between the likes of Newscum aiding and abetting terrorism, and judges holding kangaroo courts, the word “Nazi” really, really, doesn’t mean anything anymore. More DARVO, “we should do whatever we want and you’re the bad guy for standing up to us!” bullshit.

Does not seem like sound reasoning to me."Yeah he's a fraudulent scammer, but he should not be punished..... erm, because uuuh, some of you are fraudulent scammers too!"

Not to moralfag, but this is exactly how you get the government of a third world country.
I don't think that he needs to be in prison for 7 years because he used campaign funds to get botox treatments. Trump probably wouldn't have pardoned him if he had gotten 18 months or something more reasonable for a first offense. He was being punished politically, so he's being freed politically.

Guys... the "No Kings" protest is happening tomorrow (Unless something else happened, or I was misinformed). Either it is a "Nothing Ever Happens" scenario and it just plays out like a normal day, or, as some random black guy told me at the gas station, it will lead to another bloody civil war. Place your bets.

This is no Tiemen Square. Tank Man is a good image because it created a strong contrast between a lone everyman and a column of tanks. The tanks forming a line and facing the same way create a natural focal point to the man, and because the man is small, burry, and facing away there is an alluring mystery about who he is and allows viewers to easily insert themselves into the image. Not to mention the image is very tense because it is of a stand off.
Why didn’t they just run him over?

Wait until the EBT is shut off.

So? I’m sure having tanks in the streets stopped by a lone unknown man would’ve made them look as bad. In not condoning what happening; I’m thinking, you’re in a tank.
Perhaps there is a chance it would've happened had people, claimed to either be bystanders or secret government agents, rushing to get him off the street didn't show up.
