It's genuinely nice to see Hollywood gradually losing its cultural relevance. They shut the doors on the unwashed masses, and inadvertently kneecapped a lot of their ability to manipulate the public. Movie propaganda like this used to be influential, the Message would get talked about and get picked up. Now, especially after Covid hit, nobody cares anymore. It is a dying business. Lots of fat remaining, but it's going down.

You get a little hint of that with video games too, just at an earlier stage.

Especially with all the "media literacy" stuff they put into movies. A movie can't just be a movie anymore, it has to moralize and have subversive messaging that ACTUALLY means X when you think about it. And you aren't allowed to take subjective meaning from the movie, oh no, that means you didn't GET IT.

Why subject yourself to such garbage by choice?

But sources told CNN that the plan to build the Qatari facility has been in the works for several years, dating back to the previous administration.

A US official said the agreement with Qatar is routine and something the Air Force has done for decades with other partner nations including Germany and Singapore.
