The SALT tax already existed. It just had the cap raised. That said, I fucking hate it, because that was a total Dem win and not a single Dem had to vote for it.

The big deal with SALT is that federal tax is about destroying money - removing it from the economy. So SALT lets rich urban bughives keep their taxes high, hoarding that wealth instead of letting it be destroyed, massively exacerbating wealth disparity and empowering these stupid commie fucks.

The whole thing could've been avoided by doing 2 things:
  • Obama doesn't make the Social programs we have oversized as shit
  • Trump doesn't introduce massive tax cuts
The DNCs plan was to raise taxes and expand social programs to a massive degree so that they could bring people out of poverty and over the course of several years make them stable enough in regards to their finances so that they make enough money to no longer qualify, meaning that the US would collect more in taxes and be able to steadily allocate less and less to them and shift the funding towards infrastructure, defense, paying off some of our debt (being in debt can be a good thing, that's why you shouldn't pay it all off), etc.
This plan didn't factor in a possible GOP victory which is why it failed, if they had factored in that possibility they wouldn't have made the Social Programs so big in the first place.

You might make the logical choice given time to think about it but one is going to make you feel safer than the other.

Given monkeys have far less logical understanding of the world than we do i felt it makes sense they would go for the thing that their senses tell them is comforting rather than what their pattern recognition tells them.

I remember hearing about this experiment in some really old vsauce video and i didn't find it remotely surprising but all my friends were shocked. Maybe i'm just a sociopath.

Edit: The experiment i heard about involved the monkey's reaction to be startled which might not have been the one you were referring to? Same basic concept though.
 
The legislative branch needs to be completely overhauled. Enough of this voting on multiple things at once and voting to attach other crap bullshit. Single item votes only. "But that'll take forever" niggers what else are you doing? "But it won't be as efficient" lol u call this current bullshit efficient? There's absolutely no fucking reason why every single item shouldn't have it's own easily-referenced number so any person can pull up a one or two page document instead of having to ask Grok to attempt to summarize the latest over 9,000 page niggerfest of words. Also term limits. Fuck these fucking niggers not leaving until they're dead. Extend that to the judicial branch as well. Fuck all these people having careers subsidized by our tax dollars. What a fucking joke.
