Hypothetically fast food doesn't have to be unhealthy. Logistically mass food preparation is more efficient than home cooking. Every major civilization used or uses mass food preparation. Roman forums, Chinese porkbuns, Cafeterias, etc.

The food doesn't have to be more harmful than necessary. Humans don't need to be fattened for slaughter. Humans need a diet that makes them productive and happy.
Unfortunately burger corporate culture encourages bean-counters and middle management to slowly enshittify things at a 0.5c cost saving per sale in the search for maximal shareholder value.
Its a race to the bottom and mostly private companies are the only ones to withstand it.

Cooking is easy and more people need to not be lazy slugs. Big ask.
Can you please mail all replies to this thread via postal carrier. It is easy and it will make you less of a lazy slug. I know it's a big ask, but inconveniencing you is something I am willing to demand from myself.

Home cooking is a very good skill to have, and makes life more enjoyable for not a lot of effort.

Went salt mining and found this

Am I late on this?

The FBI defines domestic terrorism as: violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups to further ideological goals stemming from domestic influences, such as those of a political, religious, social, racial, or environmental nature

We know these people are doing it because they hate Elon and by proxy Trump so it's largely a political objective, violence and vandalism for intimidation. It's no "Days of Rage" but could escalate as things progress since Trump's first year isn't even done yet

The luckiest thing any one of us could have as a child is a home-cooked meal 6-7 nights a week.
This is sad and I guess a product of the times now. I grew up with a STAHM thankfully and most meals were cooked. Fast food was actually a rarity, and it always seemed like my house viewed it as a weird expensive luxury. To this day I meal prep on Sundays for work- I cannot fathom how bad people must feel eating fast food regularly.

If enshittification is the optimal "play to win" strategy, then the rulemakers need to patch the rules. There are rules for not putting sawdust in milk or using gutter oil. The rules can be improved.

The room for improvement is quite large, so finding effective changes that aren't expensive is actually somewhat easy. Tard wrangling all the special interests is the hard part.

NUKE DODGE V FORD, NUKE IT NOW
COMPANIES SHOULD HAVE A SEPARATE DUTY TO THEIR COUNTRY AND COUNTRYMEN
PROVIDING A BETTER SERVICE SHOULD NEVER BE GROUNDS FOR A CEO'S DISMISSAL

I would think that someone who managed to pull off seven bankruptcies and still came out of it well off would be the best person to make President during a time where America is over leveraged in debt and obligations.
A post either on this thread or the TDS one mentioned how people grew up with "going bankrupt means I lose" mentality thanks to the Monopoly board game. Obviously that is not the case when it comes to real life bankruptcies.

I can't watch this, but might as well archive.

That is a rough 62-year-old.

Right now their elections are suspended. There's SUPPOSED to be one in four months. As of right now, it's not supposed to happen. We're just stuck with Trudeau's replacement. To be honest, even that's in limbo to degree. So for the time being, Canada is going to be a bit chaotic. Meta-wise, Canada has gone full mask drop. They're not holding any cards. The electricity thing caved immediately to even the slightest push back from Trump.

See, the thing you guys don't understand about macro geopolitics is that when you're as fucked as Canada is, you have two choices. You can either be conquered either directly or systematically, or you go to war. Canada can do neither. Their only choice is to lie there and take it while Trump runs a literal train on them. That's why I say ultimately Canada will be dissolving.

Soft predictions, Alberta caves first to join the US either as an outright state or territory. Quebec will cave next, but they will seek to maintain independence separate from both Canada and the US while maintaining their relationship with the US and Europe and go through major internal reform. The other districts? Good fucking luck.

Well hey, what happened the last time we let a President go for a drive? :cunningpepe:
Alberta is a maybe. Its the only valuable part of Canada. Its also the part of Canada most culturally compatible with the US. Quebec is the biggest welfare queen province and will be the last to want to leave. Yes they make noise. Its a tactic to get more gibs. They are french euro trash.

They may leave once Alberta pulls out sense Alberta is subsidizing them. But my bet is they are the last ones out. All of Canadian society was bent towards them and what they wanted.
