Donating to Null over BTC has been an enlightening experience, since few months later I first-hand learned why BTC is referred to as a "transparent" coin, how BTC addresses carry with themselves a footprint that chain analysts examine and sometimes mark as potential liabilities, what it means to be "guilty by association" in the context of BTC and so on, amongst other things.
TL;DR My bank decided to freeze my account for exchanging fiat to BTC which was then sent over to my non-custodial wallet, and then to Null's address. The account got closed because I refused their demands to produce all sorts of documents on who, where and how benefited from the transaction, with "cannot be bothered" being my provided reasoning.
The more you know!
