Sam's boxing match as the candyman is some of the best entertainment I've seen in years. MDE truly never dies.
 
Sam didn't look great in the fight imo. He got gassed pretty quick (he admitted as such) but man when he finally connected with a straight it was devastating. Shout out to IamThompson or whoever for almost going the distance and never hitting the canvas. Considering Sam's 37 now probably still impressive he had a real match this late in the game. If him and Harley had a real match I'd unironically put money on Harley. His fake Irish bit was ok, more than anything his commitment to the bit even if it was stupid made it entertaining in its own way. And of course the Hasan callout was the funniest thing he's done in years. I think Sam is probably unfunny now 70% of the time but when that 30% hits it's pure meme magic gold. Glad he got a big pop from the match and got press that wasn't just hit pieces. Although he didn't walk out wearing his shooter shirt so 0/10 fuck Sam.
 
Does anyone have that old meme of Hasan posing as a tough fash basher, and then he disappears when Sam offers to fight? Pretty sure I saw it once on the chans a while ago
 
The Dolphin dripping thing in the face off was rather funny, I'll hand it to Sam, he knows how to make something funny sometimes.
 
Gonna be honest, that fight was pretty shit. Sam's main strength is his size, but I don't think he'd win against any actual fighter in a regulation match. He'd probably beat some smaller fighters on the street where he could overpower them with his sheer size, but actual boxing ability is not really there. Even that Salt Papi dude that embarrassed Warski would likely beat Sam in the ring, even though Sam would probably last a lot longer than 15 seconds. I doubt he'd get K.O.'d by Salt Papi, but he'd lose on points for sure.

I'm actually surprised as well, but not because he looks that old, more that he feels like he's been around for way longer.
