Truth is, they were always massive state assets and faggots even back in the 90s. Yeah, a few of them were and still are demigods when it comes to knowledge of computer networking and security, but to a man, all fake edgelord libertarians on the outside, and complete and utter softboi liberals on the inside back then. If I remember right, Twitter differentiates "all accounts" versus the Monetized Daily Active Users (mDAU). So saying more than 5% of accounts are bots, wouldn't be the same as saying the 5% of mDAU accounts are bots.

The Zatko stuff is probably better leverage than whining about the difference of accounts versus mDAU, since that's a whistleblower getting some notoriety for saying Twitter is amateurish behind the scenes and cavalier in how it handles user data.
 
Read something about the board approving his buyout today. Though I admit I only just glanced at the byline and haven't really been following this so closely.

Yeah, all the whistleblower stuff was pretty interesting. Also was kind of "Yeah, we all kinda knew or at least could reasonably assume."

I mean, pick just about any large corporation or organization and you have a Chinese spy in it. Heck, look at US government and you have people getting in the Chinese spies.

WALMART and TARGET have walked people out of their IT departmentsfor being a caught Chinese spy. (insight into their internals helps Chinese companies alot).

You can assume any major corporation is compromised.
