Do you think that they are fatired of covering Jer at this point? I will admit I got bored of it a couple of weeks ago but they won me back over when it heated up again. I've always thought Chrissie was a talentless whore so the pitchforks being bought out for her was essential viewing.

PPP at this point is an alchemist able to turn human shit into gold there is no way anyone else in the world could make hundreds of thousands off of Idubbbz and The Quartering who are content black holes.
 
They talked about it yesterday but does anyone know the right stream where Andy and PPP did a watch along of the Jarbo movie? Is this the movie they watch every year or am I thinking of the Nostalgia Critic ones?

They're not thin skinned. They're smart enough not to give it attention because it'd never benefit them to do so. Being thin skinned would be crashing out over the chat comments, yelling at the chat for mentioning it, trying to debunk it, etc. etc. etc. Silently banning people and paying it no attention is the winning move, and they're clearly winning.

What makes them so resilient is they understand that people, in general, don't give a fuck. It's completely tonedeaf to pretend that any hypocrisy actually matters. Go live, be entertaining, preach to the ever-growing choir, collect their donos, and log off to do the same shit they just condemned everyone else for doing.

It's crazy to me that people still think ANY successful Internet commentator is making content because they have principles and ethics they'd like to see proliferate in the public discourse. Who actually does that besides Null? PPP and Ashton are going to continue lambasting people for things they've probably done themselves, you're going to continue complaining about it, the same 10-15 detractors will give you stickers for it, and then the spinning wheel keeps on turning.

I'm also getting sick of PPP (the biggest grifter there ever was, failed pastor/salesman) whining about a banned youtube clip channel he apparently has no monetary involvement in.

The redposters acted like he was a malicious actor and not a retard trying to do what he thought was the right thing. I'm not saying he wasn't dumb for doing it or shouldn't be criticized but the presentation of the claim was incredibly disingenuous.

People have a bad habit of spamming the same thing over and over again in this thread and then ooking and eking in surprise when it doesn't go anywhere.

It's why when I begin slapping the casino in the thread I usually do it because they're making nothing but dogshit content. In older times it was because Andy abused the air horn way too much. Other times it's because PPP sucked shit as a hype man that session.

In this case, I'm not really a big fan of them criticizing affinity scams and then immediately relying on the fact that one is a failed Baptist from a fundie group that was too stupid for the Baptist convention to stay among the communion and the other is a lapsed Catholic who's stupid enough to pretend he gives a crap for the sacrament of life when he committed one of the biggest sins among Catholicism abortion. It reeks of the exact same hypocrisy that Ash claims he despises.

Andy is 100% thin-skinned. PPP wisely gave him permission to ban anyone he likes now to prevent him from screaming at random chatters who call him retarded, or say a game he likes actually sucks. That's just in general though.

I actually think you're right, though I personally find it distasteful. This makes their behavior of disengaging from anyone who mentions it at all very peculiar. Unironically, if quartering decided to try and bring up 02/28/19 they could probably just address it and be done with it and lose very little if anything.

While I personally don't think being retarded should be an excuse, I do agree that he wasn't being intentionally malicious. The part you're missing here, is that he did this in the immediate aftermath of "Aim, Aim, Aim.". So not only was this a really stupid thing to do in a vacuum, it came across like he was trying to use this situation to make himself look better after just doing something really stupid. Kind of shitty, but as you said this was a long time ago and can be easily forgiven.
