I feel Talk To Staff is a bit too stuffy for some people feeling comfortable asking small or simple questions to moderators, and I also believe there could be some more levity between staff and users.

Try to avoid using this to interrogate about moderation decisions, like "Why was I banned?" since that's something that genuinely should be handled in Talk To Staff. Threads posted there will be treated with more urgency and seriousness. Generally.

Use this thread to ask us questions, serious or not, and we'll answer them accordingly to whimsy.

Hi, how many threads can be visible in "Latest Watched"?

I got a spook just now because I noticed a thread I made was suddenly missing (so I checked to see if it was deleted or something, but thankfully it wasn't). However, even after I unwatched and then watched it again, its still not here:

Is @Natavillain actually the real Nathorix, is it fake or is it unable to be verified?

Extremely fucking late to this but it is likely, yet there has been no confirmation. The only intel we got is some IP logs from this user This could be a random troll using a VPN that goes to southern England, with the I.P. provided by @Useful_Mistake to @Speedrunner. I thought of this to be done in bad faith as @Natavillain had no comments or reactions on its account, which discouraged further activity.

If that were Nathorix, then the motive for creating an account in the first place was to look for a thread OP created on himself, as there were discussions of creating an OP for him. Sadly there is not much activity from him nowadays for a proper OP.

I guess this is more of a technical question so i'll post it here instead of Technical Grievances:

Does the forum automatically strip file metadata from uploads? I just came to the horrible realization that suno ai puts your user id on the metadata as the author, and I think I uploaded a song I generated a while back. I use a burner for suno, but it would be good to know if i need to burn that account.

Edit: Answer is "sometimes", created post in Technical Grievances.

Not that bad indeed, but who is this shadow government janny that keeps deleting content and now apparently dishing out board bans without even sending notifications? Do I have a janny on ignore and don't know about it?

You were board banned by Null. Most probably because you didn't bother reading the big red text on every single A&N page.

Is it ever possible that I get my pfp privileges back if I promise not to use it for dodgy ragebait ever again?

You'll just have to ask Null.

This is a technical concern. I cannot answer this as I was not involved in the creation of this feature.

It seems inconsistent. It is best not to trust it.

I am doubtful.

This issue was "fixed" (I found the cause of the bug), but thanks for the reply bb.
