I think Karl can win some of the defamation counts if he manages to prove that Billy claimed false things intentionally.
Billy did party a bit too hard.

I would be surprised if this was to be thrown out on all counts without a lot of wasted money and time.

Litigation is a costly, time-consuming, extremely stressful process. The last time he got into a lawsuit with Mitchell it took four years and IIRC lost him his house. Why the fuck is he coming back for seconds?

Also, why is he suing in America? Defamation is one of the hardest things to litigate in the US because of actual malice. Making fun of people (especially people who tried to ruin your fucking life and said they'd go after your family) is a constitutionally protected right with 250 years of precedent behind it. Even by the standards of Karl Jobst this seems brain damaged.
