Good advice. In the interest of helping others I would suggest investigating Mullvad VPN or iVPN.

They are 'accountless' in that no personal information is used to create an account -- only a randomly generated number. And they offer payment options that can completely obfuscate you from auditing (they also offer credit card / PayPal for convenience). They promise they don't keep traffic logs, which their underlying technology WireGuard does support...but that doesn't mean other network appliances aren't PCAP'ing everything. As an aside, encrypted DNS would provide an additional mitigating factor.

As I peel back the marketing veneer of Honeycomb Tech, I begin to feel the same sinking pit in my stomach that I felt when watching Metokur's "Finding the Finders" documentary. Makes sense that brick-face dong-gone celestial Jones would work there.
 
This does seem like a tuff spot KF people. Yet at the face of things but I think its a pretty winnable fight on the merits. Dong-Gone is clearly is doing anything scummiest they can to exact an undeserved revenge but the process is pretty in "our" favor. If most of you are not retarded like me you probably signed up with throwaway emails, use a vpn, TOR, and never entered real info so any information is going be limited and they will be forced to go to a number places before getting your details.

This latest subpoena is rushed to say the least and extensively overreaching the intended purpose of 512(h) Subpoenas. They can only legally compel "information sufficient to identify the alleged infringer." A narrow identity tool that can compel name, address, phone number, Ip address and nothing more.

Missing Dong-Jone's Subpoena is asking for financial records, payment information and transactions records. Courts have consistently held these kinds of requests outside the scope of 512(h). Pretty strong ground for a motion to quash the subpoena as overbroad and strongly suggests the real goal is to unmask KF's supporters. It's a faggotty thing to do because the law itself bypasses judicial review at the issuance stage. All they need to do is go to the court clerks with a copy of the DCMA complaint to get this issued. This type of abuse is well known and any lawyer worth their salt is going to be on this.

From what I understand, Liz's work, publications, headshots... were never commercially distributed "products". They were posted publicly on the Internet with no reasonable expectation of privacy. Users (and the farm) do not commercially benefit from the re-posting, they do so to build upon a comment or critism of the individual in a public forum discussion (Fair Use).

Has Liz ever posted content from the farm, pictures of Null, users? Anything that would make "it" seem like an penis-less hypocrite.

The question to ask yourself: "who is paying for the internet connection used by the proxy?" That's how your activity gets linked to you. Anyone taking your money for internet access (home ISP, cell phone provider, VPN service, cloud or datacenter provider, etc.) knows who you are and is legally obligated to reveal that information if given a valid subpoena.

If it's free wifi at a library or café, and you're not on camera (and you paid in cash for your latte), that's pretty anonymous.

If you're stealing wifi from your neighbors without them knowing, that's pretty anonymous (unless you do it regularly and someone is motivated to investigate).

If your school or company doesn't monitor internet usage and is big enough for you to hide in a crowd (e.g. none of your co-workers would ever suspect you're on this site) that might be anonymous.

If you're connecting to a Tor server hosted by a volunteer in another country, that's anonymous (unless the Tor server, and the other Tor servers it connects to, are all run by a government or hostile actor).

Mullvad is pretty secure as a VPN, last I checked.
 
The site has around 100,000 active users, right? So Null managed to convince almost 1% of his users to pay $20/mo for a free service with optional aesthetics and a highlight lottery as the only perks. All of this while being actively de-banked.
