Not sure who you're using for hosting, but there's always the option to self-host and only use a VPS as a proxy for wireguard. Hardware will be cheap, especially compared to what you've been paying. The only point of failure would be the quality of the internet connection you're able to use.
There's also https://anonvm.wtf which appears to allow free speech without breaking the bank.
I know you're new and trying to help, but you need to understand that Null faces a multi-level problem with this site. He basically does self-host, he owns the hardware, the ASN/IPs, and rents several VPSes to serve as front-end proxies to allow access. None of that matters when you have a brick-faced faggot who will try to fuck with Tier 1 service providers (basically the backbone of the entire Internet) to get things that hurt his feelings off the network. It's not just about cost, it's about availability and resiliency (both technical and legal).

My only request is that if Josh wins this and still has some left over, that he uses the remaining funds to enrich his life guilt-free. Maybe he can purchase some property.
I think most if not all of us would be cool with some expensive cheese purchases, but alas, the money in the GSG has to be used for legal services. I'll take a legal boot up Thwomp's ass in lieu of a nice brie anyway.

Correct, and for anyone even remotely conversant with the original design theory for the Internet, it should make your skin crawl. The whole idea was that the Internet would be heavily resistant to censorship, since it should route around such barriers.

it becomes smaller
it looses power

Hopefully raising 100k in two and a half days plus steadily approaching the 600 donors mark helps keep Null from ever again getting as demoralized toward the site as he was just prior to this announcement.

Clearly people here care, enough to put their money on the line at the very least. Once I get back to working I know I'll throw my share in.

So if by any chance you happen to read this Dear Feeder, please keep fighting. And make sure to slobber all over your keyboard while you do.
I think this proves that the problem was that people took the forum for granted. However there are plenty of people, some of whom apparently have lots of money, who value it highly.
When Null got the word out that there was trouble, people were willing to give to maintain a highly valuable website.

Especially after the unbelievable survival through 2022-2024, this is now the most uniquely resiliant website you could find. Able to get by with the work of a single guy on a shoestring budget. Surely after that he can be trusted with more resources.
Loss of this continuity we have would be a huge setback to some really really good possibilities for free discourse online.
Kiwi Farms, Lolcow, USIPS, and particularly Null are highly valuable battle tested veteran resources that have been through some huge challenges and escaped better than they went in. I'm sure this is due in no small part to what is basically volunteer work of Hardin.

Few things are more valuable than people that have endured crisis and dealt with it successfully. that is hugely useful experience.

I'll be setting myself up for monthly pay someday in the next few weeks. I downloaded Bitbuy which was the first recommendation from https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/, then I did the goy shuffle and showed them my butthole to confirm my identity, but alas, I am very retarded so figuring out the final steps from here will take me a while longer.

As long as he has a machine with access to the internet, he shouldn't have to worry about "fucking with tier 1 service providers." I'm not sure the distance he's willing to go in order to keep this up, but there's no way DongFag can block internet access from everywhere. In the case of anonvm where buying the VPS is anonymous, it would be next to impossible to consistently target KF. Just holding on to the domain name is more challenging than finding ways to host the service.
There can (and should) also be an I2P service.
Tier 1's have blocked the IPs Null is using, they have thrown their weight around to force providers to drop him. As long as he's using an IP he can(will) be targeted.
Probably several others

I encourage you to review the events of 2023 and involving Hurricane Electric and Cogent.

This thread pretty well chronicles all of DKF, though it is long, good time to use the new "View highlights" feature.

Big upps for I2P, Null was averse to it when I suggested it back then because it involves non-user traffic. I've made every argument for it you could think of. In reality I think TOR has proven ittself to be enough for our case here.

What was the symbolism of the rainbow before progressives took it anyway?
The rainbow was a promise from God not to flood the Earth again.

"And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth."
