I'm just here to laugh about this retard dying during two profoundly simple sections in re9 and then crying and making excuses to obfuscate the fact that he's a clueless goof.

How long has this slob been gaming for again? Sheesh.

I've thought a lot about what it is about Phil that is so intriguing to me, and why my interest has been slowly diminishing over the last few weeks. and the answer for me is simply the realization that, no, the mental snort fort he constructed and operates from will not break. he will not lay off the copium pipe, and will never see reality, ever. it will just keep getting more and more insane and retarded. there is no way forward for Phil Burnell other than further down into the abyss. it's still quite funny, mind you, but this intrigue "Is he going to hit the limit this time?" is just gone, because no he won't and his copes are becoming too predictable and repetitive
 
He is immediately EXTRA insufferable today, by the way. I'm not clipping the whole rant, because it's a lot of looping, but basically he's clearly malding over the criticism that bigger streamers finished RE9 within like a day or two and he's being much slower.

It's led to a mind-bending display of his delusions, where he, completely straight-faced, paints his playthrough as the Thinking Man's RE9 Playthrough, and all those other streamers as a bunch of nudnigs.




As always, PP Burnell is simply built different, and you haters simply don't geddit!

It's fascinating that he's so far gone he seems to have legitimately gaslit himself into believing his content is somehow meaningful. Astounding.

Insane rant coping about how fucking slow he is. Other content creators are bad if they do 8-10 hour streams because that means they have no work-life balance, don't have a family etc. Phil doesn't rush through games because he likes to do thorough playthroughs and read all the documents, do all the optional stuff, and that's why his playthrough isn't 10 hours and he's only just now knocking on the door of the 3rd act at 15 hours in.

You're fucking slow Phil. It really doesn't take too long to *checks notes* read the documents and kill optional enemies. Is reading documents to your audience what they show up for? Do people really want to see you meatily slap against an easily avoidable enemy out of stubbornness? This is ignoring the fact that most of the excess playtime comes from eyefucking chat or rubbing up against every wall or pondering your inventory like it itself is some kind of logic puzzle. You're S L O W

Likewise. I think for me it's the combination of the massive amount of lore combined with trying to work through his crazy copes and just watching a horrible person getting his karmic retribution all by his own hand. He built this hell for himself, satisfying to watch him suffer in a world where so many awful people go unpunished.

I would tend to agree. The closest he gets is the narcissistic collapses we see with the crashouts, like comes in denim. But he will just crash out, collapse, and come back with the copes slightly shifted so that he can build the wall back up. But he's never gonna change. I think even if he had a moment of lucidity he would see the giant mountain of things he has to change to be a better person and streamer, realize that the change was on him and no one else could hold his hand or do it for him, then give up and retreat back into the hugbox and cope. The best we can hope for are these daily crashouts.

That is a great idea... Might steal that. I use DaVinci Resolve, it's free and pretty powerful. I've heard Premiere kinda sucks now with the whole AI bubble.

Premiere Pro CS6 still works fine. This trashfire of a playthrough actually inspired me to try some editing again, coming soon most likely.

So funny that Pokopia is now on the backburner after it got great reviews because he watched 1 trailer about it. This guy is the worst streamer to exist not even going to play a POKEMON game on launch day and won't commit to putting it on the schedule.

Imagine hyping up a game for a month+ and now not playing it at launch.

Game lineup is pretty bleak. Only got DQ7, Rimworld and SF6 after he's done with Requiem. Playing Pokopia is probably in his best interest since it's a baby game he can clown mode through.
As far as upcoming games goes he doesn't have much to look forward to, most of the new games in the next few months aren't ones I figure he'd play, outside of maybe riding the Crimson Desert hypewave. Wouldn't be surprised if he decides to play Fire Red/Leaf Green and milk that $20 name fee.
