I'm 99.9% certain he's using a guide, he's making his way through the first real Grace segment way too quickly for someone with no prior knowledge of the game.
He also did one thing specifically that basically convinced me he's using a guide, he got his first injection item (a one hit stealth kill) and immediately took it to the most difficult non-boss enemy in the area, got a key and instantly seemed to know where it's intended to be used.
I saw this guy fumbling with putting sauce into an indent in a Wendy's nuggets box earlier this week, no way he figured all of this out himself right away.

Phil has a long history of looking up advance information while acting (poorly) as if he doesn’t have it. The smoking gun was back when he was playing Half Life and the game crashed, showing that he had a Gamefaqs walkthrough pulled up.

The Wendy's box thing just amazes me. The shape and how the box folds up has hundreds of thousands of dollars of research and development behind it, if not a few million dollars, and yet Phil "Snort" Burnell and his pure retardation instantly defeated a cadre of top earning scientists and marketers with contemptuous ease!

Mate watch the video again. They were Yankee candles Phil and Leanna bought. If you are going to trash Phil at least get the facts of what you are trashing him for right.
 
It's amazing how wrong Phil is in any subject he talks about. Saying the game is leaked early by people getting review copies and companies shouldn't send the game out until it releases.
Like copies should just magically appear in stores the second the game is out digitally.
Thinking it's reviewers leaking the game, and not Jimmy at the factory taking a game out of a box or stores not giving a shit about street dates.
Also he claimed a dev of the game said leakers should be murdered, when really it was Hideki Kamiya (of RE2 fame) who said leakers should be cursed to never game again. I'unno man sometimes it's just weird how he makes shit up.

Do you see any yellow paint? How else is he supposed to know which side of the box he is supposed to put the sauce on? All that research money and they could've saved it watching a few GDC presentations.

I didn't actually watch the Wendy's video and only briefly saw a single screenshot in this thread, so I had assumed up until now (this might be hard to explain properly) that it was possible to put the sauce packet in "sideways", like parallel to the lid, and I was like "Huh, that's kinda weird. I guess it's not surprising DSP fucked it up." Now I look at this image and see that the sauce receptacle is just a rectangular hole....so....he put the sauce in upside down? and then said it was badly designed? Uhhhhhhh.....

What is actually left for any dent to enjoy when the only "salvageable" thing in Dave's entire god awful existence is playing playing videogames, but he uses fucking guides to ruin the entire experience? I would love to know what is going in their water filled heads to think this shit is entertaining in any capacity, but again, these are DSP dents, they remain alive and semi sentient because breathing and pumping blood is automatic. Just imagine them as that Gif with the down syndrome kid following the light through the colors.
