I just will never not think it's really funny that the current Republican party is so enslaved by the most retarded figurehead they've ever had that they're now the ones feverishly defending a new tax regime imposed on Americans by the president.

I know it's stating the obvious at this point, but still. Imagine if a Democrat president was the one who was unilaterally waging a trade war WITH THE ENTIRE WORLD, for no really clear reason or objective, raising prices on just about EVERYTHING in the process, slowing the economy and creating an atmosphere of economic uncertainty for years. The same people defending the tariffs now would be the ones screeching about presidential overreach, dictatorship, calling it unconstitutional and economic suicide, etc. But because it's Donald Trump, it's "tax me harder daddy."

That's what'll always get me, too, til the day I die. That it was THIS guy they were so devoted to. Who looks like some grotesque caricature of a bloated old billionaire who's never worked a day in his life and can barely string coherent sentences together.

Would companies who were charged the tariffs be sensible enough to also pass such a refund to their customers? I'm feeling that in most cases, the answer is no.
I will make the world's most obvious-in-hindsight prediction. If given refunds, they will have Blowout Tariff Refund* Sales(!!!!). Come on down and get your government mandated discounts yeehaw!

*Additional purchase required.

Anyway, where are the factories opening up? Are we making stuff again? I thought these retarded pedo tariffs would force those pesky Eurofags and chinks to move their factories to America.
The last time anyone tried to open a factory here ICE raided it and arrested all the engineers.

And Trump still hasn't let up over the court ruling. He says the justices who ruled in his favor are his new "heroes". Just wait until they vote against something of his. They won't be "heroes" any longer.

Because the court ruling is "extraordinary un-American", the 10% global tariffs are being raised to 15%!

And lastly, party loyalty is the only way.

MAGAloids in USPG2 said that was GUD because the factory owner didn't do it the right way (whatever that means)

No, you see, they are right. The "right way" isn't following all the legal rules, going through the hoops and hurdles, paying the right fees and everything.

No, the "right way" is one of two things. First is to hire white guy/white passing guys. Make sure their names are something American like "John Smith" or "Mike Allright" or "Donald Trumphasabigdick"; have them wear pro-Trump memorabilia while there. Hell, maybe even bribe "donate" a couple million dollars to Trump the US govt. That would've them a reprieve of sorts for a while.

The other way would be get them in through Mexico, falsify their record as working as killers for a major SK crime syndicate with a few hundred kills between them and make it appear that taking even one of them down would likely cause multiple casualties and be more trouble than it's worth. You put that sorta resume down, and they'll be afraid to come close to the area. They'll probably settle for arresting the "REAL THREAT": Hispanic women and kids coming home from school.

Well Alito and especially Thomas will always be eternal yes men to him so he's not necessarily wrong about those traitors always carrying water for him. The topic can be in regards to literally anything, even the most flagrantly illegal thing in existence, and they'd still suck the dick of the party of pedos all day every day.

True, but that was just the first one I saw where he said that. There were about 2 or 3 more posts where he claimed we were banned, which leads me to believe he actually believes it. Being a migger only reinforces this theory.

EDIT: Apparently it’s all projection on his part:

Truer words never spoken.
Based mods are based. Train has no brakes.

Especially weird when it's about politics and the person spends a ton of time talking about it on places like here.

Or at least it's weird to me since I feel like it's fun learning some of these nuances about how the government or some laws work.

Like the tariff power Trump invoked today about balance of payments deficit. Which was needed more in the past when we had fixed exchange rates, as trade deficits could risk simply not having the gold/reserves if another nation wanted to convert the dollars they had gained through trade.

But then we changed over to the floating exchange rate letting the markets decide the dollar's value instead. So the crisis the authority was meant to avert, kinda doesn't exist anymore as you don't really run out of money so much as have the dollar lose value. It's why we can really have a deficit and not worry about the government running out of money (even if it's a money printer go brrr deal).

Or at least this is the sort of argument I've been seeing for why Trump's invocation of this authority was wrong.
Some old folks as their minds fade gain vivid memories of the past. Perhaps Trump is remembering a class in Wharton, but that probably gives him too much credit. The Trump family only understand money as something given not earned, whether from daddy or bribes for daddy.

That's what's most perplexing about Trump's political success. His rise to power would be understandable if he were some kind of Machiavellian genius who's formidable talents in deft political maneuvering was matched by a captivating oratory charisma, but as it stands the guy is a bumbling oaf who doesn't appear to understand even the basic tenets of political leadership, and who speaks so incoherently that the Finnish President Alexander Stubb is often called in to explain Trump's statements more clearly, and English is Stubb's third language.

It doesn't make sense how anybody with a functioning brain could ever think that giving political power to someone like Donald Trump could be a good idea, unless their motivations are rooted purely in accelerationism, because not only does the man appear to never properly grasp the consequences of his decisions, but when he does learn of the negative externalities, he quite obviously doesn't care.

Everything about Trump suggests that he is a fundamentally incurious person who cares about nothing beyond his own immediate personal gratification (much like a toddler). If something isn't big, shiny, and plated with gold, then he's not interested; if something doesn't benefit him personally, he doesn't care; if he can't slap his name on something and say that it belongs to him, then it doesn't matter. Lofty notions of democratic accountability, scientific truth, international norms, and legal precedent are quite simply beyond his concern or understanding. All Trump cares about is attention, accolades, and self-entitlement (again, like a toddler).

I thought it was well established why he won: he painted himself as the “anti-establishment “ candidate, said the things that led to god emperor memes on 4Chan, and was able to run against an extremely unlikable opponent who couldn’t stop with the self inflicted shots and own goals in the instances where he won.

The Epstein files showed he also had Mossad posting on his behalf on 4chan to make him appeal to hugless incels who hate women and brown people

Weird how “doing things the right way” matters in that instance, but not when it comes to applying tariffs.

Guys, I’m starting to think these miggers might not be the honest pillars of society they claim to be…

The Supreme Court created the gift that keeps on giving: yet another massive wall of text. This time, Trump has withdrew endorsement for a Republican Congressman because said individual was against the tariffs. It seems some Republicans have some common sense, thus Trump has to replace them with loyalists.

So many Trump Chan Curse-ye-ha-me-has are flying around right now. :story:

The supreme court, Jeff Hurd, every country that trades with Burgerland and of course Barack HUSSEIN Obama!

CURSE-YE-HA-ME-HA!!!!

That was posted by well fed Published Author Patrick Tomlinson who sustained a fairly substantial thread, quite a lolcow. His personality is toxic, repellent even to people who'd agree with him. That said, Katie Johnson's claims have a notable credibility and they were only withdrawn on refiling as Jane Doe due to threats, with the earlier filing failing for technical reasons. If the Democrats had a trace of street fight nous, they'd have finished this novelty candidate in 2016. Women candidates with a sense of entitlement advised by bright young things don't work.

Also Russians saw in Trump someone who was gullible and so was cultivated by them for years. Foreign governments who fear and hate the US as a global hegemon are happy Trump is President (his deals with Red China and HANAS too show Trump is gullible and surrounded with gullible officials). Destroying the Western Alliance as a meaningful and trusted thing will take years to repair. Once the effect of AI slop fades and statistical manipulation (also the info draws from Department of Commerce forms that people don't want to fill out) become ever clearer, it might be too late. Hopefully not.
