There is a joke they tell in economics classes. Two economists are walking down a country road when they come upon a big pile a cow shit. 1. The trump admin is at odds and does not agree.
2. Subterfuge

I find it unlikely that Vance and Trump would come to head about immigration at *this* point. But not impossible, I suppose.

Vance is talking to a niche platform.
Trump is talking to the general public.

Sadly this becomes a matter of intention. Either they are optics cucking while hiding their true motives or trying to keep the right strung along by lying in an interview only a specific fringe minority of right wing voters will see.

For now, based on how things have been going I believe it makes more since they may just be optics cucking to general voters.

But I will agree, I do not like this.

I'm inclined to take Homan's word for it over Trump or Vance. They're not going to be nearly involved as he is on the operational decision making. I'm trying to be optimistic either way because if all the rioting in Minnesota and LA cause Trump to hesitate then my area of the country is going to go to shit again. There's been some very large anti-ICE protests in Seattle but nothing is really catching on because there's not an active operation here. I also wanna see the guy I snitched on to ICE get deported. Literal gay faggot that flies an inverted American flag year round.

This is a fair read of it.
I will say regardless; Vance benefits very little from lying about policy at this given time no matter the rationalizations anyone can concoct up. No matter the situation I do believe his words are entirely genuine.

Which I am pleased with. Sometimes I flop on him because of his jeet wife and ties to Thiel but generally he tends to come off as consistent.
Sometimes I do wonder how Rubio would fair. I didn't like him for quite a bit but he has been growing at an astronomical rate.

Id honestly vote for a Rubio/Miller campaign. Assuming he can keep it up.

This is something that annoys the hell out of me. The Romans had concrete that repaired its own cracks when it got wet, which they used to make buildings that have stood for thousands of years. Meanwhile, we can't make a fucking sidewalk that lasts for more than a few years without needing to be manually fixed or replaced. We had even noticed the compound that allowed it to do this (lime clasts) a long time ago, but determined it was just a mistake that it was in the mix. At least "it was a mistake" is something different than the usual "for religious or navigational purposes" that everything else we find gets labeled as, I suppose.
