It seems whenever Russia takes a town without securing the flanks first - it just can't hold it. It needs better supply roads first, or to find another pipe.

I can't remember the specifics of Krinky but Artemovsk seemed to mostly be about using the convict army to discover how urban assaults work in the drone age. They had a pool of men no one would really cry about, so it was a rare chance to suffer the high casualties without blowback.

Like I said in the Epstein thread, it's obvious that he was a arrogant and delusional retard who genuinely thought he could weigh in on and influence international geopolitics which is why he tried to involve himself in Russian politics. This ended disastrously for him as Putin is still in power and the guy who was supposed to replace him is now just another drug addicted member of the Ukrainian government. This arrogance of his just substantiates my hypothesis that he tried to blackmail the wrong people in either the DOJ or FBI and they responded by dropping the book on him and Maxwell.

I don't think you can write about how and why Epstein was in his position and somehow leave out his intimate association with Ghislaine Maxwell, favoured daughter of Mossad hero Robert Maxwell and all her connections.

Epstein was only moderately rich (by elite standards) in his own right. What he got was access to deep pockets via others. There was that extremely rich financier who appointed the unqualified Epstein to manage huge fortunes for unknown (but possibly guessable) reasons.

There is far more to Epstein than him being a "Rich New Yorker". He was the front man for a huge blackmail operation. Note that Maxwell, up to her neck in the same shit and procuring young girls for the operation herself is now in a low-security prison in Tallahasse which is about as good as it gets for people proven to be trafficking underage girls for sex purposes. I'd be very surprised if she sees out the full 20 year sentence. There are a tonne of unnamed people involved in this operation that have never been convicted.

TL;DR: is that I'm correcting what I feel is an impression you have or gave, that Epstein was some self-motivating, self-enriching figure in this. He was more like some Gatsby figure providing the society face for the mob. Only the mob in this instance has state connections, not Mafia ones.

Which, while horrific and a massive number which will permanently dent the Ukrainian population pyramid, still leaves millions of men left to fight and die. The 25-29 cohort of males counts 1 million and is the smallest 5 year bracket you have until you get to the 65-69 age bracket.
Ukraine can simply keep throwing men into the meat grinder. For 3 years of war, Russia killed some 300k per year. Ukraine can keep that rate of casualties going for a long time.

As for your second question, it's because we've had a vague idea as to what was going down on the Island for years and we've been slowly getting fed information about it for over a decade which significantly lessens the blow.

This might just be conspiratard nonsense so take it with a grain of salt, but I recall once stumbling across a thread on X which alleged that Epstein’s dad (officially listed as a nothing more than a gardener) was actually a physicist involved in advanced weapon programs and that would presumably be his “in” to DoD circles and by extension the wider political power apparatus in America.

With that being said, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of those men are probably silently hoping Putin annexes the whole of Malorussia at this point. But then again, the NPCs over in America wouldn't care about these sorts of things given their applying the Hitler devil bogeyman to Putin. When they watch TV, they cheer on something they don't understand the full ramifications of.

Its fairly stupid but in reality the sukhoi pilot is much more likely to wind up dead if he messes up the maneuver, b-52 is a pretty chilled out design that isn't pushing the limits in any way so its comparatively overbuilt/damage tolerant
