Former CNN anchor Don Lemon has been arrested by federal agents in connection to his presence at a Minnesota church protest, according to his lawyer.

Lemon’s lawyer said the former CNN host was taken into custody on Thursday night in Los Angeles.

“Don Lemon was taken into custody by federal agents last night in Los Angeles, where he was covering the Grammy awards,” Abbe Lowellannounced. “Don has been a journalist for 30 years, and his constitutionally protected work in Minneapolis was no different than what he has always done.”

The lawyer vowed that Lemon will fight “vigorously” against any charges he faces over the protest.

“This unprecedented attack on the First Amendment and transparent attempt to distract attention from the many crises facing this administration will not stand. Don will fight these charges vigorously and thoroughly in court,” Lowell said.

Lemon covered anti-ICE protesters storming a church service in St. Paul, Minnesota earlier this month. Lemon has maintained that he was not a participant in the protest, but simply covering it as a journalist. The former CNN host earned pushback for his coverage, including from President Donald Trump. Lemon is expected in court on Friday.

The church protest is one of many in Minnesota following federal agents shooting and killing two citizens in Minneapolis this month: Renee Goodand Alex Pretti.

Lemon predicted multiple times after the church protest that he would ultimately face charges. He even claimed in a Scripps News that the administration would find a way “around” a judge if they could not successfully bring charges against him.

“If there’s no law to fit, they will try to fit or retrofit something or go around a judge and just do it themselves. And it doesn’t matter and everything that they say pertains to protesters. I was not a protester. It’s very clear about that,” he said.

A federal judge previously refused to sign a complaint bringing charges against Lemon over the church protest, according to reports. The DOJ previously announced the arrest of multiple activists involved in the St. Paul protest.

This is a developing story and it has been updated.

The fact taking multiple dicks up the poop chute isn't even in the Top 10 things to hate about a man says a lot about his character.

Suffah, Don Lemon

I believe that Lemon is a co-defendant in the case with the other people and that Lemon is one of the redacted person the agent is talking about in the affidavit for probable cause.

I hope the documents will be unsealed as of today and redactions removed since the arrest took place.

It appears that Don Lemon told his camera guy that he could not enter the church with a camera.

Only to then record himself using his Meta Smart Glasses

It appears that Don Lemon's livestream was instrumental in identifying the organizer of this "clandestine operation".

Have fun reading the attached PDF. Redactions are still in there, but you can guess on redaction length which say "Lemon".

Good.
The administration should do everything in its power to put all involved people away.

It is fucking insane that JUDGES are playing defense for that scum.

I would say the judicial system in the US is fucked, but it is fucked in Europe too.

One major issue is that judges are rarely, if ever, held accountable for the decisions they make. Sure they can impeach and remove judges on paper but that's rare. For instance, only 15 federal judges have been impeached by the House, 8 convicted and removed by the Senate, in our country's history. The judge that threw out these cases, regarding this church incident, was donating to pro-invader causes. How that isn't a conflict of interest is beyond me.

A lot of people were thrown in a hole for recording the people going into the capitol building on J6 too. I wonder what don thought of their treatment

In any case, at least one Democrat (for a change) will understand what "the process is the punishment" means.
Nah, some dem judge is gonna go "erm, Don Lemon is a hecking wholesome chungus, he dindu nuffin!" and Trump's admin is gonna say "welp, that's all we can do! Guess you're free to harass more church goers, Mr. Lemon!"

Expecting Trump's admin to do a Bidenesque "use the law to fuck with a guy and ruin him" is foolish, they never do shit. Maybe if Don Lemon burst into a retirement community, synagogue, or Hindu temple he'd consider it.

Niggers, faggots, and niggerfaggots on suicide watch. Now it's pretty much impossible for me to have a bad day. I'm still doubtful about a conviction but he probably didn't think he'd ever be pinched and his world being shattered is good enough for me, for now.

His lawyer. Surprise surprise.

I don't think so. This faggot gave an interview about the importance of targeting white churches. He probably would have skated if he was so arrogant as to hang himself with his own words. Many such cases.
He also can't hide behind "journalism" when he was doing the raised hand chanting bullshit, and harassing the pastor while the pastor was trying to help the congregation.

He also can't hide behind "journalism" when he admitted that this was a “clandestine” operation to “disrupt business as usual.” When he was doing the raised hand chanting bullshit, and harassing the pastor while the pastor was trying to help the congregation.
He also knew about it beforehand, knew that it was an illegal action and was part of the group.
Just because you have a cameraman and are a gay nigger that even CNN fired doesn't mean you are immune.
