Shots rang out in Minneapolis early Saturday after federal police tried to subdue a man who was waving around a gun, according to law enforcement sources and video posted to social media.

A 39-second clip showed about half a dozen cops struggling with someone on the sidewalk in front of a donut shop at 26th Street and Nicollet Avenue, when the gunfire erupted.

The officers appeared to scatter after the barrage of shots went off, according to the footage.

The shooting happened after the man brandished a firearm with two magazines, a law enforcement source told The Post, sharing a photo of the firearm.

In a statement, city officials urged residents to stay calm and avoid the area.

“We are aware of reports of another shooting involving federal law enforcement in the area of 26th Street W and Nicollet Ave. We are working to confirm additional details,” the statement said.

More than 100 protesters had been at the scene when the encounter occurred. The man’s condition was not immediately known.

On Friday, protesters yelled obscenities at two people wearing plain clothes who they believed to be agents after protesters claimed their rental car was linked to the incident, according to video reviewed by The Post.

Neither person was an officer.

Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) posted about the incident on X late morning Saturday as the details of the shooting were still unfolding.

“I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening,” he wrote.

“The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.”

Neither the White House or the Department of Homeland Security have said what precipitated the shooting, and did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Despite what the Post says about the protestor's condition, Fox News is reporting he died. Spiciness inbound.

LegalEagle wants to be a breadtuber so fuckin' bad. I guess maybe he technically is by now? But christ, I think I'd rather watch a whole Hasan stream while being forced to drink soy than listen to 5 seconds of LegalEagle's performative behavior and clickbait video topics. He's slimier than a snail crawling up Bonnie Blue's snatch.

And to not only film it, but upload it as well. Absolute bitch shit.
I can get a tard doing this shit in the heat of the moment and doing a quick recprding on their phone. But he had a professional crew script it, filmed it, edit it, and then upload it all while pretending it is candid.

He's the leftist version of Rittenhouse
I would also say that the comparisons to Rittenhouse are themselves unfair to Rittenhouse, because of the difference in the context - Rittenhouse had a gun because he was at a protest where violent, anti-law enforcement agitators were going out of their way to instigate violence. This guy, in his situation was on the side of the violent instigators.

That is to say, Rittenhouse likely had a reasonable expectation that he would be attacked, but in the case of Pretti, Law Enforcement isn't just going to randomly punch you in the face. You will be left alone by them (and indeed, they want to leave you alone) unless you track them down, deliberately impede their investigation, and spontaneously physically altercate with them. The situations aren't the same and the comparison drags Rittenhouse down unfairly IMO.

Sure, like @Meat Target said; if his dad just died and someone stuck a camera in his face, or he has a live stream and it just kinda hit him? Sure. Excuse yourself and collect your thoughts and emotions.
I get that this is all just theatrics and he's using emotional manipulations to whip his soft headed niggercattle into a frenzy, but maybe have SOME self-respect and use some other tactic that doesn't result in you repulsively crying like a fucking bitch on camera? I don't know, I'm not a big PR guy.

This list is bullshit. Where’s the tank brigade?

Okay I just have to rant here for a second one of my biggest pet peeves is when right-wing people use leftie lie language in their lexicon. Illegal aliens ARE NOT IMMIGRANTS. My Danish great-grandparents who legally applied for residency here and gained citizenship were immigrants. Mexican gang bangers who jumped the border here to sell meth and fent are not immigrants they are illegal alien criminals who are not immigrating but are here to make money, send it home, then fuck off.

If I took a trip to Japan and just decided to stay would I be considered an "immigrant" or an American who was illegally in the country of Japan?
