We are all broken and flawed people, none so much as those who double down on their own flaws to fill the void in their soul. I don't mean to excuse Tom or anyone else of their actions, but the sobering reality of this is that it is possible for people who grow up in otherwise healthy circumstances to fall into such a state through nothing but the indulgence of their own worst instincts. Memes about fatherless individuals and the like may carry some truth but the fact is, that's not a prerequisite for this. The type of damage this does to people is not immediately visible. They can appear otherwise pleasant during daily life, but when provoked or pushed, who they truly are comes out. Women's instincts to take care of and have empathy for people become warped into fruitless emotional labor and bargaining in a similar fashion to men's instinct to protect being warped into one to isolate and claim by force. I don't like to blackpill but I really don't know how you fix this. Practically, banning porn doesn't work and won't happen anyway. Not without a suppression of liberty so damaging as to have other disastrous consequences. Some point to religion as the answer, but people can't be forced to believe, and the sad truth is that current institutions do a terrible job of making the argument in favor. Observing cases like these may be the best way of preventing it from happening to you, it's easier to recognize destructive behavior in others than in yourself. Not to be too gay about it but if even one zoomer reads this thread and decides to stop gooning to hardcore BDSM shit or to let their boyfriend know they're not okay with sexual violence, that's a victory.

Tried a few when friends offered, not for me.
They taste really sweet, too sweet, I also had "siberia" pouches and they are far better, those are actual pouched tobacco* as opposed to some weird nicotine synthetic powder, and taste better (to me) as a result.
But with both pouches I had the problem that they feel too strong. It feels like maybe 3 cigarettes releasing in the timespan it takes to smoke one, and you don't really have a control over how often/how much you want to puff. You just put it in, wait until you feel nauseous and spit it out.
I like to smoke pipes, occasionally cigars or cigarettes. As opposed to a lot of people nowadays, I think smoking is a pleasant, rewarding experience. I like the smell, I like the taste, I like the feel of warm air in my mouth. In the case of cigarettes I like getting away from the big conversation to lead the smaller conversation outside, it feels like an exclusive club. The pouches have none of that, just the nicotine, which is usually just a nice little bonus for me, or even a downside if there is too much of it, as there is in these pouches. It feels like the junk food of smoking. They don't even afford you the time to relax like a cig break will. The people I know who use them regularly just pop them in while working, truly the most consumerist way to consume nicotine IMO.

Unfortunately, it's not just the zoomies, I've been close to several mid to late millennial women that have had several relationships like this, one of them for over a decade that appears to be entering yet another similar situation. It just becomes the norm to to them, and develops into a cycle of trauma that they know they are repeating but can't seem to accept decent men, which they've had plenty of opportunities to be with.

In contrast, my close male friends that have had toxic/abusive relationships in the past have completely dropped out and are content with a life of being alone.

I believe the origin story for the Turkey Tom persona is that's what his friends at some summer camp he went to would call him and he decided to use it for his youtube channel name. He started making videos very young, at age 13 or 14 if I recall correctly 14 or 15 according to the OP. All of his earliest videos have been deleted from his channel though a few have been archived elsewhere. Despite this much of the early content is lost media, though we know he always had a penchant for drama since there's videos calling him out from around this time. Anyway, the name itself originates from Jimmy John's menu item #4, the Turkey Tom®. Turkey, lettuce, tomato, and mayo.

Reading these I found myself coming to a conclusion:

We’re either quickly approaching or have hit a tipping point. If a lot of these smaller streamers are all starting to call out tubby, they are going to have a moment (or may already have) where they realize there’s way more of them who the pig and his closeted twink have burned down to make their careers.

At this point all bets are off. Alberto, Cyrus, Salvo, Def Noodles, Flamenco, Bowblax, Tipster, etc, etc, may fucking hate each other, but the moment they realize that a lot of why they hate one another comes from the fact Nick would point them all at one another to burn them down for him to cover, shit could pop off.

None of them have anything to lose and everything to gain to compare notes, and collectively go after him and Augie at this point.

They absolutely should.
