Elon just denied all the reports (and Grok's own admission).

I'd like to focus on "the operating principle for Grok is to obey the laws of any given country or state." Am I reading too much into this, or is Musk suggesting that Grok would be entirely able to generate CSAM in a muslim country that does not ban such things?
 
Definition for CSAM is pretty lax these days

You could do a little research before making accusations. Elon Twitter took CSAM very seriously from day one to the point that tons of Japs left the platform.

If you want to be a journalist so much share with us whats going on on Instagram and Pinterest which hypocritically nobody bats an eye.

It might surprise you but I don't bat for the reptiles either. It's well known that Zuckerburg uses Instagram as a front for child sex trafficking, Meta has never denied it. And, yeah, Zuck should be shot for that. Doesn't change the fact that X has big problems it needs to fix too.

Yeah they are trying to use it as a weapon, this is their 100th attempt, just like how you are trying to do it here. They don't really care if Grok accidentally created couple children in bikinis, there is billion of them on Google images. You don't really care either.

It might surprise you given that you seem to be devoted to your edaddy, but my stance on the issue is not dictated by my feelings towards Musk. I have condemned other platforms with the same (or even larger issues), something you immediately moved on from once you couldn't paint me as Zuckbot.

It's not my job to track down a csam image the second it's posted and I don't go out of my way to look for them. This was very easy to find with a single search. If someone put more effort into it, they could find more. Perhaps instead or simply removing the images (if it was even done), Musk could block them from being made like every other platform.

Anyway looks as if Elmo has finally stopped the ability for Grok to make illegal material and all it took was Britain's Ofcom to start an investigation to see if Twitter should be blocked.

er, what? And everyone knows what a VPN is by this point so if Grok's pervert mode availability is dependent on location then everyone can still use it with a VPN.

It's getting worse for Elon Musk as it turns out pedos have also been using Grok to make CP out of a child actress:

Police have said if Grok was something set up in a random person's basement then police would have raided it. Elon Musk is getting a free pass because he's a billionaire.

Some are saying "Grok has stopped making CP so all is well now!". Is it? If Gary Glitter were to appear and say he isn't going to look at any more CP or abuse any more little kids would you embrace him with open arms and say "all is forgiven my friend" to him?

Ofcom are still investigating. They have the power to block Twitter in the UK and/or dish out massive fines. Hopefully there will be consequences for EM over this.

Pandora's box has been opened with this stuff, even if Musk pulls the feature from Grok it will continue to exist in more obscure avenues (Though you could certainly argue that Musk has some obligation to not let his big mainstream bot act as Prometheus giving this tool to every schmuck with an X account). Consider this event yet another reminder to practice basic OPSEC and not post pictures of your face (and certainly not your children's') all over the internet.
 
This is why Gemini kick's Grok's shitty ass to the curb. Musk is a retard who made all of Grok's image generations on a public and viewable account.
