I guess I'd give up on belief in The Simulation too if I were paralyzed from terminal cancer.

I know it's cruel to say, but now, I'm thinking Scott wasted his proof miracle from the Simulation Gods on his stupid knee when he should've saved it for curing his cancer!

So he isn't saying he's converting, not really, he's saying on the off chance there is a Heaven, he assumes he'd wake up there based on his works without needing to accept Christ as his personal saviour during life.
Almost all Protestant denominations assert you are saved by faith not works. In Catholicism its works and regular receipts of the sacraments. Being a youtube pundit asserting the universe is a simulation may not be the most pleasing set of works to God. Baptism is a hard requirement for Catholicism and most Protestants, but he isn't stating he plans to be baptized.

Both Protestant and Catholicism have beliefs that have force majeur like if you were planning on getting baptised and got hit by a bus on the way to church. You were fully intending on coverting and was working towards it, but died before you could do so normally.

He appears to be taking the thief on the cross scenario to the logical conclusion hoping to put forth the very most minimum at the very last moment to get in.

Seeing him in his final days like this is quite brutal. I hope he makes the right decision, but if it's just another calculated gambit on his part I don't think God would be impressed.

For his wishy-washy conversion, St. Peter will let him through the gates but his legs still won't work.

I'm gonna miss Scott, he had a nice way of explaining things. I said it when he got himself cancelled a while back for his famous "just get out" remarks he made it so that Dilbert cannot be converted into a boring gag-a-day comic strip when he's gone. Dilbert is going to end with him.

I hope the hospice stay is as comfortable as it can be, just load up on enough heroin that you don't feel a damn thing. Thanks for all of the entertainment. 🫡

Update: Xitter says Scott is Dead. RIP, see you when I’m out of the simulation.

Rip Scott. Didn’t give a fuck about what anybody thought of him. His late acceptance of Jesus Christ is concerning, but in the end only Scott could’ve told us what he truly believes. I’ll remember him for being unashamedly himself, for better or for worse. I pray he’s in a better place where he’s escaped from gay political Twitter drama.

RIP you crazy boomer nigga.

No one can say you didn't stand by what you believed in, whether it was the Dilberito or Conservative politics.

Aw hell. RIP Scott, he had some weird ideas but I truly enjoyed his work (Wally is iconic, as the kids say). I guess I might start collecting the full comic run at some point, now that there is a clear end. :(

Say what you will about Scott Adams, but he captured damn well the ups and downs (especially the downs) of working and wageslaving for a living.

May his soul meet respite and good vacation bonuses in the Great Corporation in the Sky.
