What trial? A trial with no witnesses? Just a slurping, drooling retard?
Not to sound like a broken record, but the only reason he "can not call witnesses" is because of that weak stipulation with Hardin. The minute Greer understands the implication, he's going to break the stip and disclose a few randoms out of desperation. Even if he does it late, that's exactly the kind of misunderstanding judges would forgive when assisting a poor little pro se litigant.

Hardin's "penalty" of calling his family won't help his case much. It'll also be fought tooth-and-nail by Russ, because he always fights everything Hardin does, even when he himself agreed to the terms.

"The prosecution may now present their case."
"Shank you your honor. The defensh is cruel and has no defensh. The proshecushun reshtsh."
"I- uh... okay. Defense?"
"Your honor, defense moves for summary dismissal... again."
"Granted. Case dismissed."

Can we close the thread until the new year or something please?
Hrm. Wouldn't that create a paradox or something? Nature dictates something ridiculous gets filed when this thread gets locked, but nothing can happen because everything essentially ceases operations until after the new year. Think of the possible ramifications here. Black holes forming type shit.

I would really like to see Greer picking a jury. Would he strike anyone who is not a whore and below an eight?
"Mossshion to shhrrike zhuurrrurrr nuh-hurrr ssshhhixxsss6 fohhhr vveee-eeing ahh fahhhy-ich-aaahhyy."

motion to strike juror #6 for being a fatty mcpatty

Literally nobody is going to show up to testify on the behalf of slurping, drooling, retard boy.

Seriously, name a single person who will show up, go to court, appear in court, and then testify on behalf of retard boy. Name that person. I mean someone who's still alive, too. Not someone who died a couple years ago despite Russ insisting he was eager to testify.

plenty of cows with a grudge against null would do it
how helpful it would be for greers case is a different question though

Description

04/15/25274DefenseMotion to DismissHardin later suggested (not motioned) that the Court's ruling wait until the SCOTUS decision in Cox v. Sony. ECF No. 359.
05/18/25299PlaintiffMotion for SanctionsSeeks Rule 11 sanctions for Hardin's investigation of Greer's personal and business dealings, such as the Winnemucca public records requests. Threatens a bar complaint. Hardin claims motion is vague and improperly filed. ECF No. 302.
05/22/25313DefenseMotion for Leave to View ECF No. 1Pursuant to Hardin's investigation into Greer's potentially fraudulent claims of poverty in IFP application.
05/22/25314PlaintiffMotion for a Protective OrderSeeks a Rule 26 order (governing discovery) to block Hardin's investigations of Greer. However, discovery is already stayed per ECF No. 283, and Hardin's investigations do not violate the discovery stay.
06/05/25330DefenseMotion for SanctionsSeeks Rule 11 sanctions for the subpoena Greer improperly obtained while discovery was stayed pursuant to the Court's order at ECF No. 283.
06/05/25331PlaintiffMotion for "Clarification" and Modification of ECF No. 283Seeks to modify the discovery stay at ECF No. 283 so Greer can subpoenna Null for KF user information in order serve to two additional defendants.
07/15/25346PlaintiffMotion for SanctionsAgain seeks Rule 11 sanctions for Hardin's investigations of Greer. Asks for attorney's fees. Hardin claims pro se litigants are ineligible for attorney's fees and the motion was improperly filed. ECF No. 348.
07/31/25350DefenseMotion to Revoke Plaintiff's Access to Electronic Filing and ServiceArgues that Greer abuses the electronic filing system by filing many untrue and unresearched motions that the defense must incur costs by responding to. Reminds Court that Greer is using a false mailing address.
10/15/25367PlaintiffMotion for Extension of TimeRe: ECF No. 362, which ordered Greer to show cause on the Utah docs. Untimely filed.
10/16/25369PlaintiffMotion for Extension of TimeLargely duplicates ECF No. 367, but includes Greer's proposed reponse to the order to show cause.
11/23/25385PlaintiffMotion for Leave to File Sealed DocumentSeeks to file "private non-party information" and "other sensitive details." Hardin later claims this description is untrue, and the documement instead contains information about Russell and false allegations of harassment by defendants. ECF No. 392.
11/24/25387DefenseMotion to Strike and/or Reservice of ECF No. 385 Greer did not serve the defense an unredacted version of ECF No. 386, which is the document he filed for leave to file under seal at ECF No. 385. Russell claims he later remedied this erroor by serving an unredacted version. ECF No.389.
12/04/25394PlaintiffMotion for a Protective Order and SanctionsAgain seeks a Rule 26 order to block Hardin's investigation and the witness disclosure of "Natalie Banks" (a prostitute with alleged knowledge of Greer's activities in NV). Additionally, seeks sanctions under Rule 37.
12/06/25397DefenseMotion to Proceed by Pseudonym for Natalie BanksSeeks to allow a potential witness to proceed under her pseydonym to protect her from plaintiff's retaliation.
12/08/25400PlaintiffMotion to Disqualify Defense Counsel Due to Hardin's investigation of Greer. Hardin notes Greer describes this as a "sanction," ECF No. 402, so this may be another duplicative Rule 11 motion.
12/09/25402DefenseMotion to Strike ECF No. 400, and Alternative Motion for an Extension of Time and Evidentiary Hearing.Seeks to strike as in bad faith or an attempt to evade Rule 11 service requirements. Court did not rule on request for an extension of the. Arguments preserved for the record at ECF No. 425.
12/10/25406PlaintiffMotion to "Strike and Exclude Improper Witness Disclosure"Re: disclosure of Waylon Huber, a Winnimuca realtor whose initials "W. H." are listed as a Managing Member of Greer's "adult entertainment" company ID NV, LLC.
12/12/25411PlaintiffMotion to "Strike Witness Disclosure" Re: disclosure of Natalie Banks, former NV prostitute with alleged knowledge of Greer.
12/12/25412DefenseMotion for a Preservation OrderRe: evidence of Greer's Venmo and Zelle payments, which may be relevant to Greer's claims of poverty and ECF No. 313.
12/15/25417DefenseMotion to Complete the Record Under Fed R. Evid 106, seeks to compel Greer to produce his entire book, Why I Sued Taylor Swift: and How I Became Falsely Known as Frivolous, Litigious and Crazy, which was partially introduced by Greer in ECF No. 415.
12/20/25423PlaintiffMotion to "Strike and Exclude Improper Witness Disclosure"Re: disclosure of Roger Baylocq, a Winnimuca businessman who owns a family-friendly hotel. Greer wanted the local governnment to give him Baylocq's land via eminent domain so Greer could start a brothel.
12/20/25424PlaintiffMotion for SanctionsSeeks Rule 31 sanctions for defense's witness disclosures of Natalie Banks, Waylon Huber, and Roger Baylocq.

This list excludes the defense's Request to Submit for Decision (ECF No. 409) and suggestion (not motion) that the Court to issue an injunction against parallel state court litigation (ECF No. 421) such as Greer's ex parte application for a restraining order against Hardin in the Nevada Justice Court.

My working theory is that the judges correctly see that Greer and Null are highly litigous. (Greer is also vexatious but that's another matter.) Knowing that, to the extent the judges even think about this case, I suspect they want to dispose of it with (i) minimal effort and (ii) in a way that it won't come back after another 10th Circuit appeal. While I would like them to simply dismiss on the many other grounds availible, the Court may require either a settlement or a dispositive trial. Therefore, I tend to think the Court will approve of motions that add financial pressure for the parties to settle, and deny motions that provide offramps from the death march to trial (a/k/a Null's trail of tears).

So, my guess is that the Court will deny or ignore Greer's many meritless motions. Maybe the Court grants ECF No. 346, despite its untimeliness, since dismissal is a potential sanction for Greer's discovery noncompliance. Even if the lawsuit is dismissed on those grounds, contra my working theory, I think the Court will want to cut off that potential argument in Russell's appeal.

Similarly, I think the Court will deny Hardin's motion to revoke Greer's ECF access. Under my theory, ECF access runs up Null's costs at the cost of minimal busywork for the clerks. As long as the Court can ignore Greer's meritless motions, I think they'll continue to allow access. This is one motion I would most like to see granted. Maybe the Court will think revoking access will pressure Greer to settle? But that just re-opens the issue of Greer's home address.

I'm not sure about the defense's other motions. On my theory, the Court will deny or ignore anything related to the allegation of IFP appllication fraud. They might deny or ignore the motion for sanctions from the improperly issued subpoenna, ECF No. 330, since the subpoenna was never served and denial will avoid infinity motions for reconsideration. Although, again, maybe they grant so as to drive up costs for both sides. The motion to complete the record, ECF No. 417, is hilarious and another one I'd most like to see granted. However, I'm not sure the Court wants to open the (novel?) legal issue of introducing the entire work subject to the instant copyright dispute into the public record via pacer and courtlistener.

Obviously, I would like the Court to dismiss with prejudice on every ground availible; award all possible sanctions, costs, and fees to Null; declare Russell a vexatious litigant in all federal courts; garnish his wages; and put him in prison until he provides the Nevada TRO application. I'm not holding my breath.

TL;DR there are 22 open motions (13 plaintiff and 9 defense) and over 200 filings this year. Current issues include the defense's motion to dismiss, motion to see Greer's sealed IFP application, motion for a preservation order; plaintiff's motions for a protective order; various motions for extension of time, various motions to strike (incl. striking witness disclosures), and various motions for sanctions (including disqualification of Hardin).

Trying to get a restraining order on Hardin is "unrelated". Very interesting.

Edit: Nevermind, hard to keep track of all Greee's unrelated litigation

It's refrencing a statement from Greer's lawsuit against the Secretary of State of Nevada.

Greer's argument here is he's competent and brilliant when he feels like he did something right and just a poor pro se retard who goofed up in good faith when he frequently fucks up.

lmao he was filing right up to Christmas, but the clerks just couldn't be fucked to enter it until today. I wonder what else will show up.

Short, stupid, repetitive, and lacking any citations. An unfortunately boring entry in the Greer docket of shame.

It is surprising how many sentences and paragraphs just switch topics midway through however. I almost feel like he cut out a bunch of lines.
