As the "fascist" he is more of the likable characters in your party. Typical lawful evil, supporting a evil empire as its judge, jury and executioner. Tristan is frim in his beliefs but has been taught by his mentor (more on her later) to always ask questions and seek answers himself without following the book of law to the latter, That makes him more open-minded to ideas. the game still wont stop hounding him for being part of the evil "fascist" (they more like communist you retarded game devs) and the MC has a bunch of snarky reddit humor comment when he criticize Tristan such as "WOW, i cant believe you thought the evil "fascist" were the good guys? You most be pretty stupid huh?" His quest starts with him trying to find out who killed his mentor. To make a long story short, turns out his mentor was a turn coat traitor and sold out to the council (basically a sub faction of the fascists that betrayed their emperor) and was killed by Tristan friend, who was also a student of the mentor. Throughout his questline, you can try and convince Tristan that maybe the "fascists" are not the morally superior good guys the universe needs, that their system and logic are deeply flawed and i kinda liked having small debates with him. Having the be forced to confront his way of life and question their actions. Of course i spared Tristan friend and while Tristan is still loyal to the "fascist", he atleast sees the council as the greater evil that need to be purge.
