In any case, yeah, I am a translator, and as such, I utterly loathe shit like "irregardless", and the abuse of "literally" to the point at which the word contains its own antonym. It makes my job needlessly difficult.

And when people made crude attempts to defend this, and write shit like "lAnGuaGe evoLVes!", I must repress the urge to fedpost. That is not the evolution of language, no, that is a tumour growing within it.

Anyway, to tie this post into the actual topic of the thread, people who use such terms should be sent to chain gangs and made to pick cotton until they die.

Well I hope you're happy about making your stupid "unattended" joke. which would have been great inside the room where you learn your focus language during undergrad, but in this thread just gave an American the argument with which he will "irregardless" his mistake into being correct usage on the website he owns. Go sit in the corner for 15 years.

It makes my blood boil the more I think about it. Pretending like she did nothing wrong and she was only there to help out, like what she did was the actions of a loving and caring adult. Just an innocent secret amongst cousins. As if that would of been the extent of her crimes if she hadn't been caught.

How many years served with a guilty verdict? She's going to be out in a couple of months perpetuating the lie, further victimizing the victim, and finding new other people to harm.
