if you're not alive 5 years from now and Nick does in fact stay sober and neither of our accounts or this website vanishes i will personally dig up your grave and fuck you on camera while saying "Nick Rekieta was right all along"
Sounds nasty. I dunno though, man. I think the legality of gravesite desecration is something you might want to run by the great legal mind that is Nick Rekieta first. Like Ralph supposedly did concerning Metokur.

Nick Rekieta said I could cum on your grave!

If he behaves is not caught misbehaving he won't go to jail. He's already been out for a year without violating the terms of his bail so three more months shouldn't be a problem. On the other hand his behavior during this time almost certainly led to this harsher than expected sentence in the first place so showing his ass on-stream in the meantime won't help his situation.
Ftfy

And he has 5 years' probation, not 3 months'. And though not typical and unlikely, you can wind up in jail for probation violations.

Also: the docs said the jail time "may be deferred of complaint with probation." Correcting for typos, jail may be DEFERRED (not eliminated) if he is compliant with probation requirements. I read that as meaning that the incarceration part of the sentence is set for 8/1; if he gets to 8/1 without incident, he won't likely be required to go on 8/1, but should he violate probation (5 years), it's still a possibility. It's a "don't get smug(ger), smart guy" warning.

I was surprised when I found out earlier today that MN doesn't automatically shorten your time for probation if you're a good boy, like they do in a lot/most places. Here you could complete that 5 years in like 28 months if your were maximally a good boy.
I am certain he will be petitioning for exactly that a dozen times before the 5 years is up.

This type of therapy is cheap (mainly cheap as a motivating factor) and can be helpful enough that it's done in prisons, county jails, juvenile detention halls, and other corrections facilities across across the United States.
I suspect it's more successful for those who don't think they know more than everyone else within a thousand-mile radius.

I'm really interested to see if it ends up being "30 days of time deferred to August 1st if he behaves" or if it's "we get to come back on August 1st to see if Nick was a good enough boy to avoid 28 days in jail". Knowing nicks track record of interpretations - the judge probably theoretically has the power to waive the sentence before 8/1 so Nick is coping that it's totally gonna happen, just you wait and see. The order seems to say the first thing pretty clearly, but MN seems to have a way of not exactly saying what they mean.
Hello Dad, I'm in JAIL!

Wasn’t he allowed to drink alcohol before his sentencing?

Wasn’t he allowed to drink alcohol before his sentencing?
Yes, because he made bail. That's over now that he's convicted and sentenced.

It seems likely he had to clean up for a short time due to family court, but we don't know the details of that.
