There's several ways to come at this but I think part of Destiny's problem is that his vision is the DNC's vision. A lot of ink has been spilled about what is wrong with the DNC and why Democrats keep losing and we can drift into Sperging. It's been a decade since Bernie ran for president and nothing has been learned or gained.

The DNC way of believing is the safest way to get a political "in" and requires no creativity (read: effort) so of course a "serious" aging millennial is going to take up with that way of thinking. Even Hasan is willing to play the game if it means getting to be closer to the center of this country's politics and furthering his own goals/prestige. If you're Destiny, you don't have to stake any hard positions and therefore you appeal to a broader set of people. Destiny vaguely gestures at supporting the issues of the lib-left while hardly believing in anything himself (see: this whole thread)

The trouble he's run into is that he's cultivated an audience of anti-establishment types, whether they are libertarians or to the left of Destiny. Because Destiny's lifestyle and wealth brings him closer to the establishment than to his fans his takes have become increasingly out of touch. He can just ban and purge, ban and purge, without having to publicly examine these contradictions of his beliefs, which are normal to have and Hasan is shitted on for all the time.

This is only a Hasan W because almost everybody who has ever beefed with Tiny (except for Boogie) wins from this. It is almost impossible to look bad in comparison to him now, and every single person who’s ever had an issue with him is going to take this as an opportunity to point at laugh at him because he can’t fight back and every criticism he has of other people is minutiae in compassion to FEDERAL REVENGE PORN CHARGES.

The grossest thing about that is that sex scandals, sex crimes, & other illicit & degenerate behavior is par for the course within the Democrat party, (especially with senators like Wiener.) To be fair, Republicans are plagued with corruption too. Political groups are filled with scandals.

The thing that’s true about what you’re saying is that Tiny’s fucked up penis problems became too public before he was big enough for them to not matter. Nah, this is just standard Tiny stuff. He's been in a state of constant paranoia at all times for the last decade thats where the whole Anti-fans thing comes from. He seriously thinks that if he allows any form of criticism within his community it will spawn this huge antifan movement and take over his entire community. This kind of relates to what I’ve been thinking. Surely Destiny’s debates are now permanently going to be ruined, because whenever he comes out with a counter argument, the person he’s arguing with will just whip out the revenge porn charges? This is going to take away quite a bit of his content, although I’m not sure how many debates he still does, I haven’t watched him in ages (for obvious reasons)

realistically nobody is going to bring it up outside of an internet bloodsport context because it's ultimately an ad hom, and even if people did it incessantly bring up he's a sex offender it'll improve the "debate" anyway.

I think this will actually be less of an issue for him than people assume. If your debating someone and they randomly start pulling out non-sequiturs that are irrelevant to the actual debate topic you'll always look like a bitch. However, how big of an issue it will actually be for him in debates will also be dependent on how he approaches more "heated" confrontations and who'll he even want to risk debating in the first place.

It sounds like i'm splitting hairs but i'm not, it's just that all of these things are still within Destiny's control. He can't go into conversations super charged and heated, where he's more willing to insult or just use "bad faith" rhetorical tactics like purposefully misrepresenting and webbing (to use a phrase he likes) peoples points. He also can't do call in's with rando's, interact with smaller streamers, or really, the majority of more 'informal" debate stuff he used to do, since there's less of an expectation to not stick to a script by the other person.

If I had to guess, he'll probably be in a similar position to where Vaush is now (or used to be, I haven't paid much attention to him lately), where, every now and again he'll do a debate with some moderately sized e-celeb that's hosted on some show. The last debate I even remember Vaush doing was on Breaking Points against Dave Smith, and the last one I remember Destiny doing was on Piers Morgan with Andrew Wilson.

TLDR - The amount of debating content he can do will probably have to change drastically, but I think he can still steer his way into being able to retain some of it by avoiding certain behaviors/communities like the plague. He probably doesn't have that type of self control tho so we'll see.

I think you are severely underestimating how unsympathetic a figure sex offenders/pests are, and overestimating how much debate bro fans actually care about "the marketplace of ideas." And it's only an ad hom if brought up as a way to not address his arguments, nothing stopping anyone from refuting his hillel/state department talking points and calling him a rapist after.

This is getting into really off topic territory but to be clear, I mixed up Wiener with Adam Schiff, my bad. The paedo, meth, & suspicious deaths were regarding Ed Buck, big time political donor who would pick up teenage boys in LA, meth them up (to death, which he got busted for eventually) & donated to over 40 Democrat politicians. He was in really tight with Schiff, who worked with Scott Weiner to pass some really creepy legislation in the last few years that lets paedophiles off the hook easier regarding age of consent in California.

My point above was that in political circles, a lot of cover is run. Once someone makes it & is “in” they can get away with a lot of stuff. Tiny hadn’t quite made it before his antics became public knowledge, so he has much less of a chance to ever enter the inner circle.

This space is ruled by optics I agree. The vast majoirty of people in this space are retards. If destiny has the intellect of a toddler than he's intellectual above them. But put him up against an actual intellectual, and he fails, ironically becoming the retards he debates with. But I think Datman still has some validity. Would conservative spaces like the daily wire; Peterson; and tim pool, stephen crowder ever invite destiny back on? Personally I think they would given that they know destiny hates libs just like they do and given that they've been silent on this issue. Perfect opportunity to attack an anti trump opponent and highlight his hypocrisy.
