Elleot is obsessed with a manga called "Killing Stalking" which well here is its summary from wikipedia:
"The story follows Bum, a young mentally ill man with a difficult past. After becoming infatuated with Oh Sangwoo, a peer from his time in the military who saved him from a rape attempt, he decides to enter Sangwoo's home while he is out of his house. Bum finds a tied up, bruised woman in Sangwoo's basement and before he is able to free her, he is discovered by Sangwoo, who is revealed to be a serial killer. Sangwoo then breaks Bum's ankles and despite Bum's previous love for him, Sangwoo puts Bum into a highly abusive and manipulative relationship until the very end."

Others have stated she's into yoai. She likes to pretend to be a trans boy that dresses up as female anime characters. Unlike most Seahorse Dads who never get bottom surgery this one got Meta 3 months post baby being born. This surgery has had nothing but complications much like her pregnancy has and she has been crowdfunding it for months now.

I've been reading pregnancy subreddits for info, experiences, opinions, etc. It's wild how many posts there are from FTMs. I always read through the individual users' post histories. How the hell do they think they're men when they write like women and post things that only women care about? I thought that the goal of becoming FTM was to escape the societal expectations of femininity, but I guess you can't rewire hardcoding in DNA.

It reminds me of how I've known women who claim they don't want children, but just end up replacing a prospective child with something like a retarded lapdog or develop a complete fixation on a celebrity. They baby their pet going so far as to buying it clothes and a stroller, or perhaps they fawn in unhealthy ways over an anime character.

I know this post says a lot of what has already been discussed, but ah geez dood. I just have to vent here for a moment since this is really the only place I can. Thanks for the thread.

I was just as befuddled as you about that the first time I saw it in that context. I also thought that "rainbow baby" meant the parents were gay, so it took a while for me to realise that the mom groups weren't completely infested with LGBTQ+whatever types (though there are always at least some of those on reddit, no matter the sub)...

I feel like adding cutesy names to things like kids being born post pregnancy loss is sort of…pathological? Don’t get me wrong, unlike many of our friends on the potato baby thread who insist that miscarriages shouldn’t be mourned, I feel that grieving a pregnancy loss is a very natural and human thing to do. That being said I feel like terms like ‘rainbow baby’ stifle the natural grieving process and put unneeded attention on the baby who survives. Can you imagine being known as a ‘rainbow’ in childhood and understanding that you’re somehow special due to the death of your sibling? It’s a little fucked up. There’s a reason medical professionals like to use concrete terms instead of euphemisms, it helps people accept and understand the finality of things, thereby making the grieving a little bit easier.
