Basically: They want to have their cake and eat it too.
Being a "straight" tranny (lesbian ftm and gay mtf) mean you're considered as bad as cishet, so FtM who still call themselves lesbian or queer (despite not be it anymore from their own definition), do it to not be ostracized, to be every label at once and feel special.

What's so funny about it is by doing so, transbian are not considered true lesbian because of the ftm lesbian, after all if an ftm feel lesbian, then mtf can't be "more" lesbian, and that's why the word "lesbian" don't have any meaning anymore and is described as "non men loving non men" (because misogynia is ok as long as is it to please the trannies).

there’s a whole lot of in community bickering about this too. the TIFs insist their lesbian history and difficulty fitting into hetero society means they must retain access to lesbian space. the TIMs insist this invalidâtes them as it proves people still see the TIFs as basically women which means they must not see TIMs as real women.
and this is true of course. no matter what they say, the community is still very much sex based. lesbians say they’re “queer” and date TIFs, claiming to believe in their manhood. they simultaneously attempt to placate the TIMs with “inclusion” and TWAW but the TIMs are constantly seething because the TIFs are still around and the TIMs cannot get laid. no matter what gets said, the reality plays out over and over again in favour of sex. a TIM will be surrounded by lesbian friends and never ever be able to get a date.

the TIFs know it means they’re still seen as women but they accept it because they have nowhere else to go. the lesbian community has been strongly guilted by TIFs the whole way along to accept them (old fag: I remember when it got started in the late 90s) without question because there was never a way for TIFs to integrate into hetero society and their dating pool was always going to remain lesbian. it’s so obvious when you see them. TIFs have always been entitled, whiny, pathetic little creeps and have wanted it both ways all along. they know they can’t transcend their sex so they demand lesbians both play along with the delusion and remain available as sexual partners. lesbians who don’t are just bigots. it is a total contradiction, everyone knows it and everyone denies it. but you’re just expected to go along with it, just like you’re expected to tell them the rapid onset of garden gnome syndrome once the T shots start is an improvement over their natural selves. it drove me mad in the end and lucky for me I’m bi - it’s completely taken over the community and actual lesbians are stuck with it. it might look bad from the outside but on the inside it is pure fucking insanity. I can get out but a whole bunch of LGB people are saddled with these narcissist freaks writing the rules.

This survey is hilarious. Let's look at every possible answer choice:

"Not enough gender and sexual identity options to express myself": Lmao as if having more stickers and labels will garner more matches. You're a man, that's the problem.

"Getting banned but I haven't broken any community guidelines": Yeah right, I'm sure they broke plenty. But if they didn't, then this is likely just a glitch or modding issue. Literally the only choice on here that HER might can fix.

"Liking on people but not getting matches": How the hell is this even an issue? Millions of people go through this every day, regardless of what dating app you use and what you identify as. That being said, of course you'll have less matches as a MAN on a LESBIAN dating app. That's like going to "Christian Singles" and making a profile that lists Satan as your hero, and then being surprised when you don't get any matches.

"Having to educate about being transgender or non-binary": You can't educate lesbians into liking dick. Again, this isn't something HER can actually fix. The problem is all you. If you don't want to 'educate' then stfu.

"Not being safe being publicly out on the app:" I find this laughable since troons are the ones that go out of their way to overshare everything. And then they cry that they feel unsafe? Ignoring the fact that no woman is going to bother troons, how is this problem HER's fault? Stop being an oversharer if you're really that worried.

"Matches not responding to me/un-liking me once they find out I'm trans:"

This one is the best. How dare women ghost me! They do realize this phenomenon happens to everyone, right? There's no way to fix this. Even if these troons were real and honest women, there's no guarantee they wouldn't get ghosted.

Now that we know what the issues are, how can you fix them?

1. Ban the lesbians that stop talking back to troons? They can't do that, their app will become a ghost town so fast if they piss off half the users.
2. Put users in time out? Same thing as above.
3. Educate users about how girldick is totally the same thing as a vagina? That's likely going to piss off users. They'll either leave or just ignore the "education" and continue ignoring troons as well.
4. Keep re-matching troons with lesbians that don't like them? Again, they'll just ignore these troons and continue looking for actual women.

I honestly don't see the point of this survey unless it's just to make troons feel like HER is doing something. Pretty much the only thing HER can do at this point is make some dumb article about how they support troons and maybe another article about being safe online. I'm sure they'll add more useless identity stickers. Neither of those things are going to increase matches for troons.

At the end of the day, this app is supposed to be for lesbians. Lesbians don't want penis or stink ditches.
 
LOL at HER. What a dumpster fire of an app. I had it installed briefly a long while ago and it was near unusable even then between the men and couples. I look forward to the lesbian exodus to greener pastures.

Every now and then someone (100% non-trans, lol) will comment saying they find the infantilization off-putting, and my heart grows a size for the birth of a future terven.
