I'm pretty sure Rupaul was pretty pissed off but VH1 and world of wonder forced the decision. I'm pretty sure that most of the fags cheering this cheap knockoff haven't seen a nude woman before.

I knew Kylie was going win because every week on the pit stop Trixie & the guest fawned over how beautiful Kylie was. They were LITTERALLY GASLIGHTING us into beliving that Kylie was hot shit. The only leg up kylie had over anyone is she has surgically modified her face & body to try to look like a woman, so she can wear less makeup and doesn't need to pad. Otherwise she's a bargain basement drag queen dressing like she's Xtina circa 2005. Honestly Drag is over. It's the domain of straight girls now anyways. The gays need a new form of night club entertainment because I'm bored.

You weren't kidding about that. That cult article is great, and it's nice to see a rare based TW. I read the linked article about the attacks on Jesse Singal as well. I hadn't paid that much attention to him before except when he was interacting with cows, and it's incredible what a harmless, milquetoast, pro-trans writer Singal is in comparison to how he is talked about. He would get chased out of this thread immediately for whiteknighting trannies. And yet he gets stuff like this:

The trolls know that if a strategy of character assassination works against Jesse Singal, it can also work against every intelligent, principled liberal who dares speak out in favour of a balanced approach to gender dysphoria—no matter what platform they use to publish their work. And on this one point, I am prepared to admit, they are one hundred percent correct.

I have noticed the same pattern before; the type of targeting the TRAs do is very strategic (although I think the choice in targets is unconscious; none of them sit around with a spreadsheet figuring out who to target, rather it's intuitive). It's a silencing campaign that goes after attainable targets, and those targets are usually people who have some sort of vulnerability (sometimes it's just 'being polite and female') and yet who are prominent enough that other potential critics will see what's happening and learn their lesson about keeping quiet. Remember the twitter TRA who actually threatened a famous GC midwife by saying "look at what we did to JK Rowling"?
