Didn't they also claim to have a picture of his corpse?
I'm sure I remember reading that.
Like that's fucking normal...the police just let someone rock up and take pictures of dead bodies.
Yes he said he had a photo of the corpse and all of this makes the cookie jar of ashes so much funnier too

Yeah those journalists are gonna be real embarassed they basically posted the worlds fakest and gay story. Or maybe not cause it's journalists.
At this point I'm more interested in seeing him pop up again under a different name, he has a habit of renaming himself in the same communities over and over, pretty early in the drama someone found a new at the time reddit account posting in his usual spots and was quickly deactivated.
That and a Hector meltdown because you just know that man is one second away from full cowdom.

Still waitin' on that proof of his death, Hector. The proof you promised? Wonder where that could be.

Nevermind what a shitty friend you are for letting someone you know off themselves. Are you sure you weren't using his supposed death as your own tool of vengeance? Either way, you're a piece of shit.

INB4 "we did it to teach them a lesson." If you come clean now, you might salvage what little credibility you have left. Which is, admittedly, being generous.

So we have to subtract one individual from the site's death count, truly a sad day even if everyone saw it coming...

First I've heard this story. Source?
It's somewhere deep in the original Byuu thread or maybe Null's announcement and both are locked iirc. I'll try to find it and edit it in.

EDIT:
So it was this Hector person who claimed to have called the generic police department and from his own words the cops confirmed that Byuu was dead on June 27th.

I haven't fully caught up on the thread, so playing devils advocate. Are we sure he didn't fully immigrate to Japan, and become a full citizen? if so this would make this new find a moot point.

Even when proven wrong, people like that will stick to that story, while making something else up.
Hope whoever wrote thag USA Today article fixes the article entirely or makes a new one and writes some Byuu x Hector fanfiction about how he comes back to life and it takes place in a coffee shop alternate universe.
If they're gonna be clowns and not fact check, they better go all out.

The story has hit Twitter and some are atting good ol' Hector, but no activity from him on Twitter for the last 22 hours despite it being about 12:45 PM in Japan. I'm gonna go AFK but I'm looking forward to see if he says anything about this, or if he does the smart thing and just tries to pretend like this never happened.

Not surprised in the slightest he didn't off himself. I can already see Byuu's "death" getting memory holed to the point that his suicide is treated as fact. Never underestimate Twitter users to ignore wrongdoings when they do it themselves, especially when it makes them look retarded.

There was mention of showing us a passport, so I very much doubt it. Foreigners aren't required to be a citizen to purchase or own property, including an apartment space. The only requirement is writing a note to the bank of japan within 20 days of purchase.

:optimistic:

They're journoswine. Most they will do, if anything, is a stealth edit of the article or a back-page "UwU we did a fucky-wucky".

What's the matter, Hector? Too busy fucking your tranny mistress to hide from the fact that you both lied to literally everyone? :smug: God-DAMN this is glorious.
