Now going off the assumption that we are in fact working with the Taliban and they are cooperating; it would make sense for the blockades. However, when this is over and done with, Afghanistan is gonna be very very turbulent with "civil war". I don't believe a sane American Citizen won't want to leave and those that genuinely do want to remain; they'll either be killed or come back as terrorists themselves.
