EDIT - So earlier he was like "I like how there's so many red herrings" knowing this on his 3rd attempt. Since aside from this unhealthy fascination with drugging Daisy Ridley everything he picks up "this has to have some purpose" yes the many red herrings...

I wonder if Phil will eventually retell the story as:

“Some immature shithead, pretending to be a fan, got me a Nazihat, telling me it was a M Bison hat. I wore it because I like M Bison, and all the trolls started making up shiat about it: “Oh look! Phil is a Nazi, he’s wearing a Nazi hat!” Because they’re immature shitheads and that’s how they think. *SNORT* Even though any mature, healthy individual could see it was a Bison hat! Edit: I was fully expecting the 'digital' hat to be an LED display hat where the top contributor gets to put their message on it or some dumb shit.

He means "multi-scale" camouflage. Check it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-scale_camouflage. It is sometimes called digital because of it's "pixelated" look, it is also called urban sometimes.

Edit: on further research, it seems to be called "digital" because it can literally be made with the assistance of a computer.
 
He immediately starts talking about what vests the hat will match.. he really doesn't get it at all. No one cares about putting together an outfit that looks cool or matches for him.

I didn't make that up. that was a direct quote. There's a bunch of other dumb shit I've noticed, but I'm eating and working so.

edit: Phil tied up the "cop" and starting going through his phone. entire time the cop is talking shit. Phil ignores it and keeps going through the phone, then is extremely surprised when he looks up from the phone and the cop is mid swing.

just amuses me to see phil in situations like that. if there's one thing i've learned from my life it's that you ain't won a fight till the other person can't get up again.
 
I think the most autistic aspect of Phil deluding himself to believe his fanbase cares about his dress-up gimmick is the frequency of OIC coming in to hit the Goal at the last second.
You know the hat gimmick is a huge success because Phil will wear one for like eight minutes. It's totally failed to generate any hype at all.
