Honestly he should resign. No President should humiliate the American people this big and stay in office.
He should but he won't, because that would mean granting reason to Trump and the democrats would rather see Afghanistan fall into the hands of the Taliban than that

Listen here you blue collared nincompoops! DONALD TRUMP has CONSPIRED with THE TALIBAN to lure the DEMOCRATS into LEAVING our FRIENDS in AFGHANISTAN as a FAILSAFE to ENSURE that he WINS the 2024 ELECTIONS! 👴
Unironically Reddit theme post. It's kind of funny that even Reddit of all places is starting to get sick of Trump blaming.

>IT WAS NEVER ABOUT NATION BUILDING
>IT WAS ABOUT PREVENTING TERRORISM

Then why it took 20 years?

So with the "our goal is only terrorism," is he throwing under the bus all the efforts to provide education for girls, human rights, etc.

I mean if his sole goal is prevention of terrorism why didn't he negotiate with the Taliban as Trump did? The current course - giving the Taliban huge quantities of weapons, trained personnel, pissing them off and breaking America's agreements with them... - seems pretty guaranteed to produce more terrorism.

So that leak from earlier is 100% true so far.

What the fuck is the point of all this if the briefing is just going to be a summary of the things that happened.

ANNNND Biden went off script.
Annnnd ORAENG MAN BAD, I DID GUD PPL DIE GOOD.

>THERE WAS NO GUARANTEE AFTER MAY 1
Gee sounds like you should had evacuated before may 1.
You know like Trump said?

So why not withdraw by May 1? It would have the exact same result as what Biden did, except the Taliban wouldn't have overrun the airport during the evacuation.
