Is he getting paid by Microsoft now? The way he talks about the Xbox compared to how he acts while actually playing all these old ass games+flight simulator are in different realities.

Just his desperate attempt to drum up excitement for his dead streams.

Any streamer who has to tell their audience they are going to have "fun" and to "please talk," just hasn't accepted they are failing at their job.

You don't need to remind your audience to support you if you are actually funny/entertaining.

Phil can't even ride the hype properly anymore. If he wanted to ride the Xbox bandwagon he should have bought it on release but he waited and then chose either old games or niches ones like (Flight Simulator).

Seriously how is this guy still making money off this? He has no skills, isn't entertaining, and doesn't even fucking edit his videos or hire someone to do so.

My final question is: he keeps doing fundraisers so they must be profitable. From a whale perspective do you save up and not tip all week and go big. And just average out across all streams. I've never looked at the financial tracker surround days before and after fundraisers. I'd be interested to see tipping habits around fundraisers.

The thing is if they withhold tips until Friday then you're looking at 6 streams of Phil being a pissy, mopey bitch because nobody is giving him money. So do you sacrifice by not letting Phil get his way for 6 streams just so he gets his way Friday or the opposite? This is if you're a genuine fan of course because who here wouldn't want 6 streams of Phil snapping over missed tip goals.

As far as fundraisers go hitting the goal is hit or miss but he makes more then $300 he'd be asking for on a normal day so it's a success since it's assumed he really only needs half of whatever he sets as a goal.

It's weird that he said "so I don't have to sell my house next year" on stream.

2 things bother me about this.

1) If he can't pay his mortgage now wouldn't he immediately "lose his house" per his own statements in the past (yes I know that's not how it works). What is the logic for not hitting a tips goal today will make him have to sell his house in 12 months?

2) we are in a real estate peak right now. If he was going to sell this is the time. It's a sellers market. I know he sees the snort fort as his success criteria in life but that equity would fix all of his problems.

He then went on to say he'd have to find somewhere to rent and because of his bankruptcy wasn't sure if he could.

#1 Kat didn't file bankruptcy so just just let her lease the apartment

#2 people with bankruptcies can still find places to live. Especially with 6 figure salaries.

I think really he doesn't want to think about renting an apartment because he doesn't want neighbors banging on walls telling him to shut the fuck up. He still has ptsd from CT.

Edit: he keeps complaining about how he makes less money now than he did on twitch. But he is making more now on YouTube than he did on twitch before bankruptcy so he loses almost all of his debt and he makes more money yet somehow he is is a terrible financial situation everyday. He really should think about his narrative.

I suspect this is part of why Phil has such an autistic schedule, he streams during the day when his neighbors are at work and will not stream late because he's afraid to piss off his neighbor next to his gouty office with his ACKs and snorts. Most noise ordinances go into effect around 10pm. Khet is just a built in excuse to end stream when he does.

As Phil’s streaming career slowly dwindles into oblivion, his notoriety inversely increases. Anybody who’s found out about DSP since 2016 has been watching a man whose career is in constant decline. You don’t find out about DSP because you’re looking for premium streaming content; you’re looking for DSP (or stumble upon the ‘Tism Vortex) if you want to see a train wreck in slow motion.

Look at the number of big whales this failure of a streamer has attracted over the last 3 years: Tut, E7, OIC, PlanetJeff and a dozen others I don’t care to count. Besides a few of these supporters, they all found him through detractor content… content that ranks higher than DSP’s own YT content on a website he has over 70,000 videos uploaded on. He has no way to rank up organically or grow his userbase through YT. His channel has been dead and will stay dead.

That’s why I believe it’s going to be a slow bleed because as Phil implodes, the gawkers increase and the chance of mentally ill lonely fucks who initially don’t like this guy and then decide to give him money is only going to increase over time.

The only issue with this strategy is that Phil’s situation becomes more and more unstable. Something is going to happen to Phil. Something big. And it’s most likely going to be of his own making.

So I guess Phil’s viewers are so entertained and riveted by his gameplay and commentary that they forget that Phil ain’t doing this fucking crap for his own amusement. They need to start picturing Phil as the streaming equivalent of a homeless beggar who plays drums on turned over trash cans. He’s trying to SURVIVE here, assholes. Though most street performers have more talent in their big toe than Phil has in his entire necrotic body.
