It demonstrates how more and more, Phil despises playing videogames. He's hesitant to play anything that will actually requires effort cause he doesn't want to try anymore - simply falling back on older games that he's familiar with and can just sleepwalk through while he constantly stares at his laptop for donation messages. He wants so desperately to just become a vlogger but his life is so fucking boring that even his wheelchairs would never stick around for that.

He already, unironically, thinks of what he does as a job. This is why he approaches it as one, in the laziest and most autistic ways possible. He has a set day off every week, he takes “vacations”, he has a weekly schedule, and he refuses to do anything stream-related when not on stream, and therefore he does nothing when he’s not getting “paid”. And he omits by design the fact that he sets all of these things himself. No one else determines his schedule, what games he plays, and what prep work he does or does not do.

It is incredible how a man who will not consistently wash himself every day goes out of his way to appear as legitimate and grown up as possible. Insisting on all this performative shit is truly hilarious.

Oh I know. I am well aware that Phil claims he has a job and runs a business yet he cannot set up a basic balance sheet and income statement for his "business" (business degree coming in handy). My suggestion was for him to come clean about everything while getting a job to deal with the blowback. Take a few years of just having a bunch of heat on him and try living in the real world to maybe better relate to the lonely losers in his chat so that in a few years he could turn around his streaming career. But that will never happen
 
I gotta give it to OIC. If the recent King Vanity events made something clear, is that paying a shit streamer 14 thousand dollars to buy modship for his comatose denthead chat is totally worth it. 2 pages of sparse replies calling you a faggot or laughing at you AND forgotten by everyone just a couple of days later? Phil's ideal job is to sit on the sofa and pontificate and rant about anything that crosses his mind, no filter, with all the "niggers," "fags" he can spew out, and get paid hundreds of dollars to do it. But in addition to getting paid, to have sponsors say, "Phil you are so smart and handsome and we love you, and your content is amazing!" while his peers and other streamers go broke and lose support. Phil wants people to fawn over him and say, "You know Phil, you were wrong and we were right." He really is Rupert Pupkin, just a narcissist with delusions of grandeur that thinks he's the funniest comedian to walk the planet and in desperate validation.

It's hilarious that he wants to be a vlogger while at the same time refusing to either show any part of his home outside his office OR get a "professional desk setup" like those other sellouts.

He really wants to just point his camera at his couch and blank wall and collect his $150 twice per day. It's almost unfathomable how he expects so much for so little effort.

I think if anyone that is gameplay streamer, you'll want to get on level with your audience. Not dsp though. He holds himself above his audience and says "I'm just like you guys" or if you criticize his spending and anything of that nature he will say "that's not how it works, this is adult life." He wants to be above them but everybody should be as equal or on the same page as him. You cannot hold a conversation with the state dspS mind is in. He watches no movies, tv shows, listens to no popular music -regardless of him saying the other day that him and his wife listen to relaxing cafe style music when he's done streaming at night- his news is just him bitching about or being completely wrong in general about whatever the issue is. If dsp were to get on level with his viewers he himself would invest in a wheelchair to sit in and someone mentioned the other day he should get a bicycle helmet.

My favorite part is about the "bills" he has to pay. He pays 1 mortgage for a house thats 300k at most right now (at 3.92% interest rate, his monthly payment would be 1,418, his property tax is about 0.93%, his electricity bill is around 80 a month, 2 cell phone bills would be around 250 a month, and generously putting gas and groceries at 500. He took in over 11k in July and Kat works too. Where the fuck is the rest of that money going? Its not like he has a savings account or a retirement account
 
It's obvious that part of Phil's "silent majority" shtick is his way of coping with the degeneracy of his genuine fans as much as the trolls and detractors. He has to tell himself about the silent majority because his ego cannot allow him to believe his only unironic supporters are all mentally unwell social outcasts.

If you asked Phil what he thinks the day in the life of an average DSP fan was he'd tell you they get up, have breakfast with their model wife and kids, go to work at their high paying management job, get home, have dinner, pour a nice glass of wine and settle in with the wife to watch Phil play Danganronpa for 3 hours before bed.

Phil was hoping, he kept checking his phone until around 9pm. Then he realized a paypig wasn't going to show up tonight, so he abruptly came up with a senseless excuse to end gameplay and do a mini-ACKS the King knowing that brings in more attention. That didn't bring in any funds either, so he just left whining and crying about how Nobody cares about Mass Effect and thankfully he won't have to play it again after the final stream.

There is a 100% chance a few whales will make up for upsetting their King today, but how I wish these wheelchairs would make the pig sweat more. It's better entertainment for us all.

The entire reason EA released the Mass Effect remaster was to gauge interest and drum up hype for a ME 4: which they're now making. So clearly some people are still into it.
