FROM: GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

On July 31st, 2021 the Greene County Sheriffs Office received information involving sex crimes against a family member, who resides in the Ruckersville area. Both the victim and the suspect reside in Greene County. Based on the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued.

On 8/1/2021 , the Henrico Police Department was able to locate and arrest the following individual:
Christine Weston Chandler of Ruckersville, VA

He is currently charged with the following:
Va Code: 18.2-366 Incest

Christine Chandler is currently being held without bond at the Central Virginia Regional Jail.

This is an ongoing investigation with additional charges pending. Anyone with information is urged to contact Investigator Jason Tooley with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office at (434)531-0866.

They're actually treating him like a woman, regional(as far as I know,) is the only facility in the area that handles women.
Regional is also less than an hour from me, LOL.

Edit: I didn't know there were multiple "regional," jails. I'm unsure if Central Virginia Regional is similar to Western Virginia Regional, in the sense that they house female inmates as well.
